I bought about £400 worth of kit to build my upgraded PC, back in May 2003. All of the kit has been fine, until my 8RDA+ GSC capacitors started leaking a month ago. This is a known issue with many mobos. Since my purchase was now over a year old, I guessed the 8RDA+ was out of warranty, so I contacted Epox UK (they apparently offer a low cost service to replace all of the GSC caps). They told me that since Komplett was not an official UK reseller, I should contact Komplett. So I did, and asked what they could do for me. They issued an RMA straight away, no arguments. They have now shipped me a brand new Abit AN7 as a replacement. All I paid was shipiing the 8RDA+ back to Komplett. I consider the ease and speed of the RMA to be exemplary, especially as the mobo was 1.5 yrs old. Also pleased that they offered me a comparable high level Socket A replacement. Well done Komplett - it\'s customer service like this that earns you repeat loyal custom, and recommendations! |

I bought an Abit NF7-S v2.0 from OcUK 2 months ago. It was advertised as v2.0 (the v.1x has been out of retail for over a year). When I received it, I saw that I had been given a v1.1, USED, board. There was dust on the NB fan and rear ports. Additional cables in the box were loose, static bags weren\'t sealed etc. I reported this to OcUK immediately and asked for an RMA. To be fair to them they replied to this fairly quickly, saying that they didn\'t know how this could have happened. After a week I got back a new v2.0 board, sealed bags etc. Also OcUK\'s packaging has, in my experience, generally extended to items shoved in a jiffy bag - not very robust for some delicate items. I don\'t think I\'d use them again, given the fact that they originally shipped me a used item. I just don\'t see how a decent warehouse & shipping operation could have made this mistake. And of course I had to pay to ship the used board back to them, thus detroying any saving I made on the original price. |

Ordered ZM80C heatpipe cooler, case fan, and Asus CD-RW from them back in May 04. The order was dispatched quickly, well packaged. I discovered, when I went to replace the GPU heatsink _one month later_ that there was a small bag of connection parts missing from the Zalman ZM80C (it was Zalman\'s fault, the pack was sealed!). When I contacted QuietPC they sent me the missing parts straight away. Because of this I\'d rate their customer service as excellent. Only slight downer is the prices aren\'t cheap, but they do stock a lot of specialist components. I\'d certainly buy from them again. |
