Scan\'s delivery system has declined to the point it is becoming offensive. I remember when you gave them an order, it was picked and shipped same day and delivered next day - all with real-time emails telling you the status. Now, typically, they despatch my orders 3 working days after placement, meaning I usually receive it the following week. The order I just placed was like that. Ordered Tuesday evening - double checking ALL items were said to be in stock. Their tracking page said it would be sent Friday, meaning I should get it Monday. At 8PM Friday they send email saying main item out of stock, will be sent NEXT Friday - ESTIMATED. This just isn\'t good enough. I\'ve spent thousands at Scan, but this will be my final order. UPDATE: Goods arrived Wednesday 2nd February - 2 weeks after order placed. The last email I receieved was on Tuesday 24th January - over a week ago.
In my eyes Scan are now just another company whose bosses were not satisfied with healthy profits and happy customers. They wanted MORE profit, whatever it took. And what it took was expanding the business without increasing the staffing levels proportionally. Customer service has suffered as a result.
So, thanks to all the people at Scan for the truly excellent service I\'ve received in the past. But I\'ve decided to give my future custom to companies who haven\'t been infected by bean counters who\'ve decided that \"efficiency\" is more desirable than quality service.
