I really ordered 2 items from them a TV card and a PSU. I\'ve not had a problem with the components. They were packaged in a normal way. So the packaging was good. But what let them down was their courier, who are Business Post. I paid for Next Day Delivery, but it took 3 days! That is why Shipping and Packaging below is 1-very poor, *not for the Packaging*, but for the Shipping only. But what is *Excellent* is that PC World Component Centre have refunded me my delivery charge!! I\'ve had a poor delivery from another company. But they didn\'t offer me any refund for the poor delivery! So really excellent customer care from PC W CC. I would recommend them to anyone. But not if you really need next day delivery! |

I\'ve recently purchased a P4 motherboard from Scan.co.uk. The motherboard did not come with a rear I/O panel/plate. I E-Mailed Scan about it and a few days (snail mail) later it was delivered! And that was the only problem with my purchase. I also purchased the P4 CPU and it installed and works like it should, no problems. I\'ve also recently just purchased a case for this new motherboard. But as this was a P4 motherboard, with an uncommon rear I/O I had to ask Scan if my motherboard will fit in a certain case. And back came an E-Mail saying that the case I liked had a fixed I/O panel. So Scan told me about a similar case. Which was a very good alternative. And I purchased that one and its an excellent case. But the only problem was that the case shipped with large thread standoffs. So I\'ve mailed Scan about the problem. And now they\'ve sent out the correct standoffs to me, at no cost to me. Scan\'s prices might look a little high for some products. But I\'ve found out that the price is paying for quality. I\'ve purchased cheap alternatives from other companies, which have caused problems. So when I want a stable and quality product I buy from Scan. Below in the optional fields section, I\'m supposed to put a rate for Scan\'s:Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA). But I can\'t as I\'ve never needed to return anything! It\'s all worked fine. So an excellent service, with little problems solved, without a problem. So top marks to the Customer Service. And I\'m only a home customer, not a Business customer. Which in some companies a Business customer takes priority and the home user is left until last. But not in Scan\'s case, we\'re all treated with a professional service. |
