They are almost impossible to talk to! I\'ve never been able to get anything other than an engaged tone when \'phoning them. They do not use e-mail and bounce mail addressed to them. They will only communicate by their web based e-note system. My first query took 3 days to be replied to and then asked a question but I couldn\'t answer the question since e-buyer closed the e-note 5 mins after asking the question!!! A new e-note then needs to be opened and so the circle starts again. Their prices are the best, their service is the worst. Make up your own mind, I have and prefer to pay just a few pennies more from Scan for 100% service. |

Perfect service, I have nothing but praise for Scan. I\'d previously purchased from both Dabs and e-buyer so was under the impression that all online PC component suppliers were the same - constantly engaged \'phone lines and when you did get through you\'d be 20th in the queue, no flexability to change anything not allowed by the web ordering system etc. I wanted to have my purchase collected so called the sales number and it was ansered after a couple of rings, actually talking to someone about 30 seconds later. Yes, collection no problem, would be ready by 3.00pm same day. Nothing too much trouble. A completely different experience to the other online sellers I mentioned. |
