You only find about a company when something goes wrong, Microdirect have failed to responed to email, they leave you on hold for ages and totally fail to abide by the The Sale of Goods Act. Unless you want to have to issue court proceeding against a company to get your money back, I would recommed you bought elsewhere.
I had been trying to order a couple of fans from Extremecooling.co.uk since 1st of July, I never got my conformation E-mail, so mailed them, they said that there was not any record of my order, even though I had an order number.
Then I tried to re order, Extremecooling.co.uk had gone, so I looked at Tekheads and they had a Free Del option now, so I placed my order, recieved this mail this morning. 5th July
We have noticed that over the weekend a vast number of orders were placed, yours included, which had \'Free Delivery (2-3 Days)\' selected as the shipping method.
Unfortunately this was due to a software error our end - sadly we cannot honour \'Free Delivery\' for your order.
It would be much appreciated if you could email back with your name and order number and preferred method of shipping, so we can alter your order and get it out of the door for you.
If you wish to cancel your order, this will be understandable. Again we request that you email your name and order number to us so we can cancel your order.
