item was out of stock, after three weeks I phoned they said I couldn't have any money back because it had already gone through, they tried to mess me around on the phone lines and in the end they refunded me when I informed them that I had complained to VISA and wrote a complaint e-mail about the consumer buying act. they will mess you around if they can.

I bought a system from eclipse computer some time ago, and there were several problems: Namely: 1. The fan supplied was not good enough for the CPU, although they were supposed to be bundled. My computer crashed after 5 seconds. I had to underclock it to see it working for the first time! 2. They delayed delivery of my monitor for 8 months!!!! Constantly refusing to reimburse me. In the end they just returned the money to me after numerous calls, emails, threats etc. Although their prices may seem good, they are definately to be avoided.

Tryed to order 2 product from them over a week ago, both products turned out to be out of stock. they made no contact with me to let me know this, there website also stated "normally in stock" i guess that now means "not in stock unless we had some in today and cant be bothered to update the website" took me 4 days to get through on the phone system. Never received any replys to e-mails. Im still waiting a refund after requesting it 3days ago. Overall a better website with real stock control and better customer relations would help.

Haven't used these since they sent me a faulty Graphics Card as part of a system build order and the phone lines were 'permanently' off the hook. I threw it away in the end.

Bought a motherboard from them. First one died after 6 weeks. Toook it back and they gave me a new one. Second one died again after 7 weeks, took it back they said that I had overclocked it and thats why the power rail to AGP slot had burned. I did not overclock a thing. They said they had to send it to their supplier who might give me a new board. Waited 3 weeks, and nothing. Told them i have to buy a new board because i need my machine, so bought one from Micom. the guy in Customer Service said he could sort me out with a credit note, which was fair enough. When I went down to get the credit note a couple weeks later when the supplier said that it was faulity, they said to me that we did not say such a thing. I then insisted that I speak to a manager and he said that he was there when they phoned me and that no mention of a credit was made. So they blatently lie and cheat. Very poor service, never use them again, unless I\'m desperate for something small like heatsink compound. ALSO, BEWARE, THEIR SHOP PRICES ARE DIFFERENT TO THEIR WEBSITE. AND IF YOU ORDER FROM THE WEB AND ARRANGE PICK UP, YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY A HANDLING FEE FOR SOMEONE HAND YOU THE GOODS AT ACOUNTER. THEY ARE JUST AFTER YOUR MONEY. NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY. DO NOT USE THEM, THEY ARE CROOKS.

Eclipse do some unusual budget product lines and some of their prices are very competetive. I bought some sound deadening foam packs from them for about £5 each - not the greatest stuff but cheap as chips. Same for some silicon sound-deadening fan and PSU gaskets. Cheap and cheerfull. Their website is rather poor with no obvious option on how to log out of your account. The very worst thing however is there is nowhere to specify an alternate delivery address and you don\'t know this until the order is placed. I got my items through fairly quickly but missing the PSU gasket - it wasnt very obvious from the shipping manifest that this would be coming along in another parcel later. Again, poor website gave no clues about what had shipped and when.

Brought a lot of stuff from eclipse, and i must say, they are rubbish, brought an msi motherboard 2 years back, and died within the first week wen i took it bk to them i had to wait in the customer services department for wat seemed an eternity, only to be told that the motherboard was dead, but they didnt have anymore in stock, take my advice dont use these pathetic losers :mad:

Used them once in a moment of weekness after flicking spotting thier ad in a mag. Never again... Save yourselves a lot of hassle and don't even try them!

Very poor customer service and delivery, When an item was out of stock and they wern't getting any more in they just took the money and made no effort to contact me, they keep you on hold for ages then cut you off if you try to complain, and on 2 occasions I have paid £'s for postage they have sent the items out with just a first class stamp on them and I've then had to pay royal mail for the postage costs aswell so in effect paying for delivery twice plus a handling charge.
