I ordered a Wii and Scan immmediately e-mailed and texted me the delay until they arrived with Scan on the 27/1107. True to their word, the Wii arrived today 28th. Top marks for a service that is standard for Scan and also for not making up dates when things will be in stock like some other sites seem to. Wii is a present for missus, so you could say Scan has made my Xmas LOL - without the Wii - what else could I have got (tried a Q6600 but she said No!). Anyway Thanks Scan great service as always.:) |

The choice of stuff at scan is amazing and also in stock,I live nearby so i collect,ther Q COLLECT system makes things quicker as its always busy.the only downside is waiting if you want to pay by cash at the customer servise desk,there should be a dedicated person for buyers who want to discuss what they want before buying instead of holding up the others.:) |

I love the layout of their site, with all the component categories at the top, making it really quick and easy to find what your looking for. I like the range of products they stock, quite extensive and the prices seem to be quite competitive too. They offer free delivery for hexus members, and this is really good as ive always hated how some sites charge too much for postage. There was also an option to choose which day i would like it delivered, which was quite useful. One thing i would note however, is that i have not (as yet) received an email conformation of my order, and usually with other sites ive used i would get an automated response instantly, just to let me know the order has been placed correctly within their system. I would recommend using them, and fully intend to shop with them again in the future. :) |

These guys are a joke. Tried ordering from them 3 times & twice parts which were in stock at the time of ordering mysteriously dissappeared, delaying the order. It happened twice consecutively on one order, delaying it twice. I eventually got the parts and built the PC. The DVD -RW packed in within the first year. I RMA'd and got a replacement - great. The XFX 7900GT gfx card displayed problems from day one. XFX support told me to make some changes to the memory settings which resolved the issue until the card was 13 months old, and then the problem recurred. RMA time (it had a 2 year warranty). Scan confirmed the fault, but then sent it to XFX who concluded it was fine and sent it back to me. I protested at why this happened and was told by scan that the card had been "repaired". I examined the card against some digi photos I have taken before I RMA'd it. Nothing had changed - hence no repair. Either scan or XFX had lied to me. A quick trial in the PC showed it was as bad as ever. Got in touch with scan who offered me a 7900GTX card as a replacement or £80. Was not happy, as the 7900GTX would not fit my PC and the £80 would not cover the cost of a replacement. I was offered no other alternatives despite their having stock to 7900GT, 7950GT & 8600GTS cards, and this was despite asking several times. Eventually they more or less told me to get lost from their support forums, and any time I post there now they heavily edit my post to completely misquote me or alternatively delete my post altogether. I'm still awaiting my credit card bill to see if they have indeed re-imbursed me for the £80. You have been warned... |

After buying quite a few ink cartridges (close to 50+) I expected that there may be 1 or 2 missing, but none and they were all there. Hidden somewhere in the large box it came in was a surprise, an OEM version of COD2 for a workmate to play online. this was wrapped even better than the blocks of RAM that I get in pretty of bubble wrap so kuddos! :cool: |
