bought lots of bits for an upgrade for my grandad. everything went perfectly, even though, yet again i messed the order up and had to get in touch with scan they sorted all my problems very quickly and city-link delivered aswell (that makes three times in a row :wow: ) cheers guys :D |

Bought a TRUE 3 Noctua p-12's, akasa fan splitter and some thermalright fanclips from scan yet again scan were brilliant, they were only let down by citylink (i had to pick it up myself) but this is not fault of scans so it shouldn't count against them |

Bought an external HDD off scan and everything went swimmingly, they dealt with my today only kerfuffle swiftly and dispatched the next day. unfortunatly they were let down yet again by Initial City Link who have the parcel down as failed delivery - carded, even though 2 of us were in all day and the dog never made a sound and there is no card... (typical city link then eh?) but this is no fault of scans own it's down to city link being lazy again!! so in summary - scan are brilliant, city link... not even close to being acceptable!! (but we all knew that anyway. right?):P |

Bought three items recently, and very impressed, delivery was witin two days and free, only gripe was that the Case that I ordered the packaging was slightly damaged on the side and one of the fan blades inside was detached, so had to re attach it myself, but that might have been due to the delivery people. Overall very good:) | |

I was considering purchasing some Samsung Hard Drives off scan and thought why not send an email to themanwhocan so I can get the Samsung range on today only and save a few quid. Anyway I was phoned by a scan salesperson who offered me the hard drive at reduced prices and such and silly me went along and bought it. When working it out the price over the phone came to more than that on the site (Hexus Free Delivery). I phoned back and spoke to someone in cs and she said that I could get free delivery over telephone orders and said it would be refunded the difference thus convincing me not to cancel my order before it got shipped/picked. So thinking it was okay I foolishly agreed and the order went ahead. Drives arrived and a few days later I checked the bill and no such delivery refunds had been made. So in total I had paid £10 more for my items over the phone that were at "special prices". The prices were only about 10-20p off the original. I emailed cs and then got told that I can't be refunded and I can't get free delivery over phone orders with "special prices" that are on one of the drives, MORE than the web price. First off I don't understand why I can't get free delivery over the phone, or on special prices when they coupled with delivery exceed the website prices. I even asked to be charged the website price without any special prices and I was told no. Really annoying and Poor service there. I'm really fucked off just thinking about it, but I had to let this off my chest otherwise I'd just burst. I try and shift most of my orders from Scan to eBuyer now as I'm not very happy. I still order but it's minor parts of the items I require. [b]UPDATE:[/b] My carriage has been refunded on this and I am happy this has been sorted out. At the time I thought that Scans special service applies only to a select few but I am wrong and I'll admit that. Great service Scan and I apologize. |

I ordered a 750gb HDD on offer and I accidentally ordered twice (thought the first order didn't go through) I sent a quick email and got a reply within the hour to cancel one of my orders. IThe drive came quickly and as usual with the excellent updates on progress online and sms. |
