after getting my boss to phone an order through for me, he had to use his name and addy for the invoice due to his card, not at any time did the member of staff point out he couldnt have the today only price and they were more than happy to give my free shipping. i raise the query and get told that i can have the price change to the today only price as advertised minus the free shipping. this is even though the guy on the phone said it was ok for free shipping as the shipping was going to the addy listed on the hexus/scan account. if the staff were doing there job properly they would have rejected the order and made me phone it through myself. but no they took the chance to get a bit more money out of the Boss as he didnt know otherwise, even though he said on the phone the today only price and was told by the staff member that the offer had finished. it comes down to fraud. Scan had no issues whatsoever when this was done on a previous order for a £400 video card what a con. .[b] Just to add since scans reply, that as always when scan are backed into a corner and in the wrong they lock the thread to stop me replying, hence having to take this matter to hexus trust[/b] |

Despite having received confirmation my item had been picked it did not turn up on the day I had took off work awaiting its arrival. I rang scan and they said there were stock issues. I was told it would turn up when they were back in stock.. Great as I commute and wanted to build a system some 300 miles from the delivery address. Anyway the item turned up on the next available delivery date (monday) So the service was not too bad, however this is the second consecutive time that kit has been delayed in delivery, where as they are normally very good, so I hope it is just a blip. |

Purchased a case, some memory, graphics card, processor and a few other bits. Ordered on the Monday asked for it to be delivered on the Saturday. All components were in stock at the time of ordering. When it came to delivering the stuff that was another matter.... Saturday came, and rather than a nice parcel I had an email saying that the graphics card i purchased was out of stock. They were polite about it but it they had reserved the thing when i bought it and not waited until friday to pick the thing then i wouldn't be in this position. I asked for a replacement, paid the extra via card (money taken straight away) and asked for it to be delivered the saturday after. The next saturday came and went..... no parcel.... They had all week to prepare the thing, yet dispite me paying over £25 for saturday delivery, they couldn't manage it, two weeks on the trot. Eventually had to take a day off in the week to get it delivered. Asked for a refund of the carrage. Had to remind them at least half a dozen times to refund me. After a month i got a cheque in the post for the difference in postage. No apology....and very apathetic customer service. Got there eventually, but after much hard work and waiting. I think i'll be shopping elsewhere in the future. I reccomend Kustom PC's or ebuyer. |

As usual, completely satisfied by Scan. Excellent prices, great service. Only one small gripe this time - one of the boxes was a bit smushed when it arrived (the kit itself was fine due to the packaging), but then that would be the fault of City Link rather than Scan. Can not recommend Scan highly enough. |

Excellent prices, got a laptop bag, USB TV tuner, ethernet cable, 2 USB back plates, a cheapo headset, and two sets of rechargeable batteries for £25. I made the order on Sunday but asked for an amendment to the order on Monday morning. I thought this might cause a delay but no, it was despatched later that day and arrived very promptly on Tuesday morning. Excellent service as always.:) |

Bought SuperSmashBros, great price (although similar at Sainsburys!), also an Arctic Cooler AC1 rev 2 also a great price. Ordered Monday afternoon, delivered Wednesday morning, this was exactly in line with what they informed me of at thie time. Next day delivery is nicer, but i really am not complaining as they were very clear to me. |
