Well, a great transaction. Purchased the items in the early hours of the morning. Got processed and received my email before 10am. Payment authorised and items picked and ready to ship out with a text (with citylink parcel number). The number didn't appear on Citylinks website for the rest of the afternoon and evening, but a check on the next morning shows the parcel had been received at the local depot and ready loaded to be delivered. The package was received the next day (using the free delivery option -many thanks Scan!) Another fantastic transaction with Scan - the only slight disappointment was that the hard disk was not packaged in an individual box with foam inserts, but instead was bubblewrapped with the CPU. Arranged for a LCD to be delivered nextday via MSN, arrived next day a long with a PSP ordered for the company... All in all fantastic considering I only placed the order at 3pm on a Thursday. I had my LCD for the weekend, the customer had their PSP it was all fantastic :D |

Ordered X2 3800, Asrock Dual Sata and a transflash memory card. Memory card was out of stock, thus delaying shipping, so cancelled it using their email system - this was quicker than a phone call - was all sorted out in under 2 minutes. The rest of the order was then shipped 2 days later, probably due to the yo-yo-ing X23800 stock at the time. Was highly impressed by the speed of the email system for ordering support. |

Along with the mainboard, I bought a processor, a PSU, a cooler, a DVD writer, a floppy drive and a copy of windows. At first I didn't have a good impression due to my payment being refused. This was the fault of Natwest, who took too long to respond to the authorisation. However, once sorted, the customer service was prompt, packaging was good and it was delivered 2 days after I ordered. Would not hesitate to order again, but be warned if you are trying to use a Natwest Debit or possibly Credit card. |

This is my second purchase from Scan. Couldn't resist a 17" TFT on today only at a great price. Took a gamble as I couldn't find much information on the item. In terms of Scan, great price and service, ordered on early hours of Fri and received on Tuesday. (Could have been delivered on Mon - but it was free delivery so is fantastic!) Good communications from Scan (text and emails) throughout although there was a slight system error and I had to call the 0870 number to find out what it was (the text received was automated). The callI made was answered within 5 minutes though, but overall was good. I would defintely shop again from Scan, they have a fantastic selection of items at good prices (keep an eye out for Today only offers) and amazing service and a clean easy to use site! |
