Bought all the components needed for a new system that my sister could take to uni. Arrived quickly and was very well packed (got to love the bubble wrap :)). Everything worked great, though there was a slight problem with one of the M/B audio headers it was nothing to cause major concern. Always check Scan first whenever I need something new! |

I bought a 3XS system back in february, every stage of the buying process was outstanding, scan were very good to deal with and exceptionally helpful. Having received the system there were some minor problem that needed ironing out, but again the scan customer service people outdid themselves and every issue was resolved. I've waited this long to see how the system runs in general, and i can honestly say it is flawless and i've had no more problems with it thus far. Good job scan!!! Andy |

I made a slight mistake with my order which was processed, and then I was notified of the mistake by email, but it meant that delivery would take 3 extra days. Despite this the goods still turned up 2 days early. great service.:E |

bought abit ab9 and core2duo tuesday expected despatch wednesday got picked email wednesday but then item not put onto van for some reason despatched a day late all turned up in working order am only giving a 3 for this transaction as am normally overly happy with scan but most of my orders are delayed so finally giving a low rating normally customer service very helpful but this time emailed and got told item is out should be with you even though someone from scan on hexus apologised and told me ot would be a day late GREAT COMPANY BUT YOU NEED TO WORK ON YOUR TURNOVER TIMES FOR ORDERS |

I've been a scan customer for a good many years. Earlier this year I bought all the bits for a new system. Everything arrived promptly as ordered and nicely packed, as expected, oh except for the keyboard which I never ordered. I don't know whether that was a deliberate freebee for spending £1k or just a mistake ;-) Prior to this I've bought odd components here and there, memory, disks, stuff like that and never any problems. A few years ago I bought a complete, built system for my wife (a 1GHz Athlon when that was state of the art). I'm typing this on it now. And before that I bought the bits to upgrade my Pentium 2 system to an AMD 750 and that to an Athlon 1GHz. With all this (must have cost me > £3k) the only thing I've ever RMA'd was a CD/RW with a stuck tray. They replaced it in a few days with no trouble. Speaking of trouble, whenever I've phoned their sales line they are always really helpful. Want to know whether the 2-3-4-4 XYZ ram is better than the 2-4-2-2 stuff, just ask. Want to know whether the PSU is powerful enough, or whether the CPU/Mobo/Mem combination is compatible, just ask. I work with people who have bought from other etailers and they are mostly fine, as long as you don't have to send anything back, but scan have always been really good to me. I now don't bother looking elsewhere. I might be able get the odd component a little bit cheaper elsewhere, but my confidence in scan is sufficient that I don't risk it ***** 5 stars. |

Ordered a TV card but realised it was the wrong one. Cancelled the order and ordered the right one. Unfortunately, it turned out that my order never got cancelled, even though I had confirmation of this. SO I received 2 tv cards. SCAN arranged for the card to be picked up at no cost to me so everything was sorted in the end. |
