I bought a 2.5" drive and enclosure late last year, but recently the HDD broke and refused to even show a hint of life. Less than a week later, Scan had processed my RMA, I had sent them the defective drive, and they had sent me a replacement. Absolutely fantastic service (and the price of the original drive+enclosure was a steal too!) |

I think scan offers value for money, one of the cheapest with quality service, good communication. I brought a tv card from them, had problem with card, returned with no problem. |

i ordered a xfx revo64, sata drive bay and a sata dvdrw and took advantage of the free delivery. the order was processed quickly and delivery was excellent (even got a text from scan with the consignment details --brilliant!), usually citylink are useless delivering to my address but amazingly this is the 2nd time i've ordered from scan recently that citylink have delivered on time!! |

Well, another fantastic transation with Scan. Purchased some parts (HSF, USB DVB, cathodes, etc) and I had to make 2 changes to my order on two occasions (changed HSF and then added a PCIe cable) these were done with no problems at all. Very quick responses to emails and delivery was on schedule as usual. Overall, very pleased with the service and an example of how other retailers should follow if they want to keep up. |

I bought 1500 quid of components from SCAN and was greatly disappointed to discover that the motherboard they had sent wasn't quite the one they were advertising. It was the same mobo, but a lite version without all the cabling+backing plates etc. This lite version has a subtly different part number, and their website had the part number of the full version. Anyway they accepted back the part and because I'd paid a premium for sat delivery returned some of the postage to me to allow me to purchase elsewhere. Alternatively they had offered me a 15 pound discount on the part if I wished to keep it. Top notch service. I then went to buy the part at OCUK and the exact same thing happened despite confirming which version they would send on the phone. The contrast in customer support was massive. Suffice to say, I'll be buying from scan in future, not the other co. |

Despite a minor scare with my product order not appearing on the site for a good 15 hours or so (because I ordered at night, apparantly this is normal), good overall, good prices, fast postage. A few items did turn up a bit 'battered' from the post, though, most notably my new Intel Core2Duo E6600. The chip itself was fine, but the box looked more than a little tired. |
