Thanks to Hexus, ARM and Zotac for this excellent competition, a awesome mini PC plus the VR headset to go with it, great way to enter the new VR gaming scene.

Seen these a couple of times in reviews, but not really sold here, recently 1 online shop (under 2 different names) has started selling them. These little things look so VERY capable, especially aince you can now get fully VR reeady versions. OK, it is more expensive than the consols (Sony PS4, VR, move controllers set-up - $1100 for 500GB slim, to about $1400 for the Pro - Boxing day specials), but you can do SOOO MUCH MORE with this than you can with a consol. And it is about the same size - takes up a lot less real estate, but about 7mm taller than the new Sony PS4 Pro)
After checking out the Zotac site, they even have a full blown i7 1080 water cooled version coming out soon as a birthday preent to themselves.

Never owned a Zotac product, but I have noticed that they really try to come up with class leading mini gaming PC products that rival desktops (first noticed them with the 900 series Nvidia PC's). But these mini PC's are not sold much or even advertised in Australia.

Silly thing is that after checking out the Australian prices (though when contacted the only store, the availability date is unknown - just has pre-order), it would be cheaper for me to buy the 1080 from a UK shop and ship it here. The price difference is quite significant (using Overclockers UK price), I would save about A$750 (and that is after including all the postage and import duty costs).
