Looks good. Having the 540 myself these are excellent cases for building.
It was a good move to put the hard drives around the back though not sure on the removal of the optical drive. I use a blu ray internal drive myself so wouldn't be able to consider this case for upgrading currently and the price point is a little high.
Looks like a bit of a dust magnet - especialy those horizontal vanes on the front panel.
Dust is minimal, virtually zero inside my case, has a magnetic removable filter behind the fans, as does this model.
A new case without frontal USB-C? Dear lord Corsair…
And am I seeing a new case where I have to remove the front panel to get to the front filters?
Thats the same as the old case and takes like 30 seconds
Is there a windowless option?? I have grown to hate windows on cases…
I like it and like the removeable dust magnet/filter but I'm with one of the other posters - I'm not liking the move away from optical drives.
Unfortunately, it seems that Corsair are just one of many companies that are tailoring their mid-high end cases towards streamers vs those of us that still enjoy using optical drives…maybe I'm just an old fogir at 28?
I really enjoyed working inside the Air 540, given I finished a build about a week ago (

Thanks for the review!
