i knew it .

sooner or later the homebrew era will begin in the PS3 even if its security measures are high such discovers by those hackers will be followed by many others that will lead to running illegal copies .

but one of the most important advantages in the PS3 is that its operating system can be updated through connecting the system to the net which means Sony will be able to fix these issues remotely and easily without too much efforts as compared previously in PS2 or PS .

and that may stand as a huge barrier that blocks the way to homebrew and its applications on PS3

yeah this is true. I don't think im going to mess around with my ps3 to much. Just linux install for me so far.

same sort of thing with the psp innit. it uses firmware that gets updated regularly and yet it gets cracked all the time

that is true , but as updates advances further it become harder to crack it easily because more security measures will be applied and more exploits will be blocked .
