Another competition I won't win… :(
Thanks to Hexus and nVidia for making it possible, though. :)
Thanks for another great prize offering!!!
I have never wanted to win a competition more in my life than this one right now! Thanks Hexus and nVidia for giving us the chance! Lets see some love down under!

I don't know why I'm looking at this post agape as if you had said you'd won the lottery twice in two years, but nonetheless…

Weeell, I got my name it before you, so, no, it's mine actually.
Would go great with the i7 supermicro PC I won on here last year ;)
never mind winning something every couple of years, I intend to do it annually :D

that something, was just the GPUs. I didn't mention, the other stuff ive won. ;)
and fwiw, won on the lottery 5 times so far.. £50 total.
If I won this, I'd have to update the rest of my rig - it would be like matching a ferrari engine to the chassis of a go-kart! Mind you, that sounds fun :-)
Well lets give this a shot and see what happens….

Worth a try…
Always worth a try (if you actually want the prize) - you have to have hope.

Nice…
If we are talking all-time wins then I have won a digital Camera from HP for answering a survey about 10 years ago, and I won £1800 on the lottery about 14 years ago, plus another £200 (total) off a couple of tickets at different times, plus around £200 in £10 wins on lottery too :D
Won £42 on lottoland last month too… I've done ok ;)
I definitely wouldn't look at buying one with how much it costs, but I'm definitely open to having one as a prize!
Thanks, entered. :hexlub:
Damn it can't pass this by
Thanks for the giveaway:)

You've just completely disqualified yourself from entering this competition! :P

The only stuff I've ever won (and I can count that on less than one hand) either ended up costing me money or was broken. :(
I promise to clean all the dust out of my computer to send in a picture of this card installed if I win it! (Quickly checks for potential work: not actually much dust in there anyway :) )
Disappointed to see UK retailers charging more for the cards with custom coolers than the reference coolers as opposed to nvidia's pricing structure in the US where the reference/founders cards are more expensive than the reference pcbs with custom coolers. Desperately need to win this!
Entered. Gotta try - it's the only way to get around nvidia's price gouging. :p
I would rather have a new mid range laptop then a GTX 1080. You will see it on Ebay, if I win!
I would wish everybody Good Luck! But that always seems to be self defeating!

That's not very sporting.
I had to think twice about entering myself given the high heat output and lack of Adaptive Sync support. But given that it's starting to looking as if the interesting screens and ~7.5L cases are still a couple of years away it'd be a nice thing to tide me over for two or three years.
That would be a nice prize. I certainly can't afford to buy one at the ridiculous price that they are.
May aswell try.

This would be nice. Would certainly spur on a 4K monitor purchase :D
Cheers Hexus! :hexlub:
I've entered but with the run of bad luck I've had lately I stand no chance of winning this but you have to be in it to win it
There's so many “Glass half empty” characters in here.. You've got the same chance as everyone else.
Cross your toes and hope for the best :D

Been entering comps since 2008, still not won anything :D
Andy

My fairly new x99 build has everything but a new gpu , and my current gtx 780 is screaming for a new big brother !!!
Good luck everyone . ;)
Wow, what an excellent competition Hexus/NVidia! Thank-you and good luck to all who enter! I think every single one of us that has clicked to enter is absolutely drooling over the prospect of winning such a mega graphics card.
Okay, this time is now my time…:))
You have to enter this one :D Thanks Hexus
Nice treat from Hexus. I suppose my chances are as slim as with a lottery but maybe one day eh?
I have a GTX 470 that just died last month, now running on an old 4870x2 that was on my shelf. I need this new card..SOO BAD.

Been entering Hexus competitions since the GTX TITAN competition. Now the age field already chaged from Under 18 to 18 - 24 and still haven't got anything from Hexus…
Did I miss my “You're a Winner” email? No problem, just re-send it. ;)
Would make a very nice upgrade to my GT-760. It is getting a little tired.
Need a graphic card. Actually i have a i7 4770k, 16gb Ram, Samsung Evo 500Gb but have Integraed graphic card Intel 4600… Can't play any games…
The bad employment situation does not allow me to find a job, i haven't money…PLEASE HELP ME.

Hey I take dibs on this email! :p
Why does every competition let me enter multiple times?
The terms state that I'll get disqualified if I enter multiple times, but how can I know if I've already entered a competition?
Only one entry is permitted per household per HEXUS entry form; second Facebook entries, if applicable, are permitted. Duplicate entries on either form will result in disqualification and no entrant may win more than one prize.
Here's what happens.
- I log into my hexus account.
- I enter a competition such as this one.
- The page now prompts me with the message “Thanks for entering!
Your entry has been logged.”
- Now, if I enter again it still prompts me with the same message “Thanks for entering!
Your entry has been logged.”
But if I log in tomorrow or any other day I can enter the competition again, despite the fact that I'm using the same account.
@c0k0snuts that's why you see people either ‘thank’ the first post or replying with these ‘entered’ messages.
the form entry seems to be stored in your local cookies as to whether you've entered or not. You log out, it clears your cookie, that's why it thinks you haven't entered next time you look at the page (or so I think,)
you should also get an email saying you've entered which helps if the competitions running for a while.
what I do is - -
bookmark the competition page, so I know i've entered.
then I check the links every now and again to see if a) competitions finished b) they've announced the winners and posted them on that page.
if no winners are listed, but the competitions finished they've either not drawn it yet, and/or waiting for winners to reply with name and address.
I have won once with a 2nd round draw because someone didn't reply in time :p
rinse and repeat with all the competitions and hope I get lucky (again;))
Hexus.net I LOVE YOU!!
Hope I win this competition :(
Hope to replace my old 670 with the 1080.
Good Luck to all.
Just bought a Msi 1070 gaming x but I'm sure my son would like it if I won a 1080
wonnadeezdaze ;)
Great prizes yet again Team HEXUS !
Wow, fantastic prize guys. Good timing as my GTX660Ti just bit the bullet.
fingers crossed as always
Count me in, seeing as I have no chance of buying a 1080 due to the absurd pricing of them just now.
I just want to win this one. And than sell it so I can build a complete AMD PC with RX480 :D.
Throwing my entry into the mix.
I reckon I won't win this competition, so I'll have to spend a lot of money to upgrade. But I think I'll wait a little while until we see who else shows us their offerings.
I could definitely use this card, my old HD5670 is on it's last leg…. and it's an artificial leg at that.
More prizes like this please
Hi Team, who is the winner ?
can't belive it's taking this long to pick the 1 lucky person?

They already picked and announced the winner.
We notify winners via an email - it's tracked, and they get time to reply, then reminded. If they don't answer within a specific timeframe then it's redrawn.
I am sorry @Rubarb that we are not good enough for you :)
Card is packed for winner and going out via UPS tomorrow!

Is there still time to ‘correct’ the address? :innocent:
I like how none of the winner say thank you in comments.. Weird right :/

Why's that weird? Chances are they don't even have a Hexus account. I bet they reply with a thank you in the email :p

Sadly not often…
:( You should add a small print that says if they don't say thank you the prize goes to a diligent forum user instead ;)
I am stuck with using a GTX960 on a 2540X1440 screen!! :(

Well,my 11 year old 200W6CS started to get some patches along one side in high contrast scenes, which was not that useful when editing images, and it was a decent price. I wanted at least a monitor with an 8 bit non-TN panel too,and reasonable calibration out of the box(colorimeter I have is old and won't work with new monitors that well) which pushed the price up. The monitor I got is now £30 to £40 more in the matter of two months(!). As usual other things have happened,so stuck with the GTX960 until next year methinks. Might need £300 for a midrange card by then at the rate things are going.
A bit worried if Mass Effect Andromeda will run OK next year - will see.
