I bet they don't drop the price in the UK. They should of dropped the price here first as we are paying a lot more than most places in the world.

Yep, that's starting to spread across the net. It's just standard practice though whenever a rumour crops up. They're covering themselves by saying ‘at present’.

We won't know for sure till the end of next week.

If they do drop the price in the uk, will they use the usual $1 = £1 exchange rate? no, didn't think so :(

If they culled the price of a PS3 to a reasonable level, developed some games that would release this impressive power that we keep on having rammed down our throats then I would buy one in a flash. It needs to loose £100 notes and get some 1/2 decent games.

Yea typical covering up.. microsoft did teh same thing with the elite vrsion even though some guy in china took pictures of the consoles in a factory..

It really boils my p@ss that the US seems to get price cuts eventhough they are some of the lowest to begin with it feels like we are making up the difference for them.
