Interesting, but then again EE always struck me as being poor value for the data hungry, so maybe they're using cost as a form of traffic control? Not good news for Vodafone though.

Walked past the EE shop in cabot circus in Bristol the other night and every screen in the shop was showing a no connection to master server error! Lol!

Great… lets review the cities where 90% of the networks have all their 4G etc and you can pretty much ALWAYS get a signal.

Now how about doing the same in a less densely populated area, say like Norfolk where in most of it you can barely get 3G or in some cases 2G.

ah clearly somebody who must live in their own little world where everywhere is 3g/4g enabled…. either that or is stupid enough to believe what they read in the red top newspapers, next you'll be saying the world is ending tomorrow because planet x is going to hit Earth :surprised:

The intention of the Smart Cities report is to provide a real-world snapshot of how the UK's 4G networks are delivering in major cities.

and the report tells us what we already knew…. 4G is there from ALL providers and 02 is the weakest and EE the strongest. Ofcom are doing the usual tactic of avoiding the real issues that affect mobile networks. Seriously we don't need reviews on cities, it's the rest of country that needs to be looked at in more depth.

If you've cracked the challenge of rolling out 100% coverage in a cost effective manner, I'm sure the networks would love hear from you :)

Is good to see the good value three holding its own with all of them. Three might have terrible customer service if you need it, but they are good value and provide the power. :)

I just can't imagine why they bothered with this. Reception where you work and where you live matter, the rest of the time changing provider just seems to move the black spots around.
