Is it me, or is the Fractal Define Design S just the king of cases at the moment? It's clean, very quiet, surprisingly cool, and pretty cheap. Nothing seems to compare.

That's what I've been saying from the moment they revealed that case, really, the Define S is the king.

I like very much the colors of a H440 New Editions, so I am wondering, if it is possible to change colors of my first black and orange H440 PC case? Just switching sides of the case would be nice …

Sure the Fractal Define S has great Case options but the NZXT H440 is much CLEANER

Aesthetics wise - no mid tower case can touch the H440 - check my build to see for yourself -> https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/b/MrjcCJ

lol yep. Almost ALWAYS use them for customer builds. If they want something cheaper then I normally go with Aerocool (surprisingly good for the monies).

I have a NZXT 450 which is really a 440 with a phantom body kit and one of the reasons I bought it was the PWM fan hub. That is an excellent piece of kit and should be a standard on every case.

I didn't get the 440 because if the poor air intake, as the review said it is somewhat stifled.

Great case at that price.

I for one am pleased to see a BIG STORAGE case.. But I wonder how much air will go past your HDDs. Is the only intake under the front panel and to one side through the vents? Gonna need to really suck to get much air through. Toasty HDDs = Dead HDDs!

Surprising quite a bit. I think that all 3 running produces a decent air flow. I have found a overall reduction in my temps with 4 of the HDD cages used.

I prefer the Corsair 780T (white), looks more futuristic :)

Good temps with 4 or 8 HDDs then?
