So as with most “Gaming” hardware it's really standard hardware in a garish case and a premium added to the price.

Funny enough, I have a customers' Z77 Extreme sat behind me, which is dead of course, after it was replaced under warranty when they originally purchased it lol.

Completely agree. £189 for a router = more money than sense.
The other blatantly overpriced trinket I saw reviewed on here recently was that £135 gaming mouse with the pretty lights on it.
