THE BEST value for money memory performance range according to the apps we have currently use is between 1866 to 2400mhz the rest of the ‘more’ MHZ will not add performance.

lumireleon - Yes, aren't Intel processors'memory buses only rated for the, or close to, minimum default speed of the associated memory generation. Why do these RAM kits keep getting released, when the offer no benefits?

Is there actually any noticeable difference between this and ~1600 to the regular user? I can't say I've ever had any problems with stuff like the latest games not running on max or the PC being too slow cos my RAM was too outdated :S
