That door does make it stand out from the crowd, considering how many WaveMaster-a-likes are around now, I wonder how long it will be before someone else has an attempt. Its nice to see a stylish, but unstuffy case that needs neither windows or lights to look dynamic.
Tempting, but I've still got my eye on the Praetorian 730 (yes I'm a Coolermaster case fan*)
*no pun intended, I also swear by 120x38mm DTB fans.
… CM Stacker 830 for me ;) I am still running my 110 as my main workstation
Looks very stylish indeed, but I don't think those plugs on the top are quite convenient. But absolutely astonishing looks, nice :)
The Stacker 830 is a great case, even their cheaper lines have a unique sense of style.
wow…stunning looks….although I might prefer blue rather than orange look at the front side
Interesting case, but those doors would be far too fiddly for me considering where I have to store my tower.
the water cooloing holes, with cut through sides and grommets are inspired.
the output/USB etc headers on the top are absolutely brilliant.
but the best thing I've seen for a lot long time is the hard drive bays roated 90 dgrees, so the leads face you when you take the side off AND thaty gives you room for a longer video card.
That case is very very nice. The doors intrigue me, but mean nothing special in install terms.
Orange? hmm….I'd rather it was brushed alloy or stainless, but then I'm an old boy ;)

It restricts the airflow quite a bit though doesn't it?
hexus
and the doors themselves have magnets set into them to provide a solid seal when closed.
Hopefully not strong enough to be a problem for any floppy disks left in when the doors are shut! :p
Many cooler master cases have the rotated HD cages. The centurion for example. I hate it. The airflow restriction is terrible and so the fan in front of it makes a lot of noise. I took it out and put my HD in one of the FDD bays. That helped airflow a lot and I cut 5*C from my gfx temps and 3 from CPU
now that you guys mention that, that lower front does look painfully blocked/obstructed. Normally you can get away with only one or two HDD and the air goers between, but there its all alloy casing.

I withdraw that statement….cheers for pointing it out. Had just not occured to me!
there is a 120mm fan in the front next to the HDD's and there is plenty of airflow space at the front for the fans to cool the drive.
The mystique is also available in silver with a blue insert instead of the black/orange.

Although I prefer black cases, silver n blue sounds better to me :D
cool doors but not sure that's worth the price for what sounds like a noisy case…
now if Antec could just incorporate this door system in to some of its cases…

My centurion 5 doesn't have rotated cages.
I also don't usually use the front fan. I hooked it up over the heatwave and it helped temps quite a bit (brought me back under 40 for CPU/mem/mobo) but it's not particularly audible - total noise of the system goes up but you can't actually distinguish any individual fan.
Credit to Coolermaster for incorporating the water cooling features (about time in a mainstream case). However I still feel they are playing catch up with the likes of Lian-Li, who have had sideway mounted Hdd for some time (see V1000 range). As others have said, I think the orange front piece slightly detracts form the quality of the case.
I still think they aren't quite to the same standard as the likes of antec with the P160/180, which tbh shares a similar layout, albeit with a removable motherboard tray and better thought out hard drive cage (it allows more air through).
Personally I like the styling, but with the simple stamped rear fan mounting it gives a similar look & feel to the cheap £30 cases from ebuyer…
this case looks good.. but it has nothing new to offer compared to my thermaltake tsunami… same build, same internal features, aluminium, so nothing new really. However i really like the way it looks and would like to get it for another build of mine.
The biggest letdown is the RRP of £89, if thats the case im better off getting another tsunami.. £90 for this case is asking too much…. im expecting it to be priced around £60-£75, if not then maybe ill wait till it goes to the £60 mark before I get it. If it had a removable mobo tray, some extra sound dampening features, or a PSU then £89 would have been a bargain.
sadly by the looks of its quality, i can much more relate it to the soprano which is priced around £50… I think soprano and this case both looks equally good, the build and features, the placement of audio and usb ports are better in soprano… ahh well, i reread the review twice now and all I can do is compare it with the soprano and no much more… =/ thats a case that has a value of £50 overpriced to £90…. £40 would have bought me a good PSU… wellp, ill reserve my judgement until it releases.
edit**
scan is selling it even at £93.. This pricing has further let me down… crazy in fact!
That is a nice looking case, though I would probably get something a little smaller.
