Up to X1900GT, so is X1800XT included in the list?
by software, you mean it works over the PCI bus? also, does in still only work on crossfire motherboards? or intel ones too for example? (for when core 2 duo comes out… mmmm). obviously any performance figures keenly anticipated..
Omg I hope this includes the X1800XT.
I presume it's the GT range only, but I hope to god the X1800XT is on the list.
Was that a yep to the GT range only?
From what I understand their new driver will support everything up to X1900GT
as the X1800XT is EOL it might not be supported…
any ideas on who will be stocking the HIS X1900GT
Any more confirmation on the X1800XT? w00t
On the other bit of news: How much more expensive is it to put a HIS (or Zalman, etc.) cooler on than a reference cooler. Can't be that much. I'm surprised that those sorts of coolers aren't standard on mid-range and up cards. Guess it comes down to marketing and economics.
Has anyone got confirmation that the X1800XT will work without a master card etc? I can't find any other information.
If anyone can find a proper compatability list I'd be very thankful :D
I'm very tempted to go for a dual card setup. Still seems ATi have a long way to come to match SLi to me, but this is definetly a step in the right direction.
Just tried 2 X1900GTs on a 975x Bad Axe mobo with Cat 6.6 beta, I see no Xfire option! Still, we'll have to wait till 6.6 official.
We need a list. I've soured the web and there isn't one…come on David!
Well X1900GT xfire is a no go with the 6.6 officials on a 975x Bad Axe mobo, so unless it only works on mobos with 16x2 PCI-E config??????
It doesn't say which driver the option will come in.
Quote Tony from Xtreme Systems (works for OCZ)
I just spoke with David, main man at hexus and he confirmed 6.6 is “supposed to be” the one that unlocks dongle less Xfire but with an extra twist…RD580 is the chipset it works on.
So manta, cfx3200 etc users report in and give us the lowdown on if it works or not
I will try and have a play tomorrow if i can with my 1800XT's
In the meantime all of us with 8x2 PCI-E mobos are still screwed. Least I found a cheap X1900 Xfire card on ebay.
