Still can't update or install new apps on my Windows 8 since launch due to some bug Microsoft still haven't fixed. Not that I care at this stage, I've used some third party software to remove it and put a normal start menu back. Never saw the point of the Metro screen unless you had a tablet and even then, the app store is so bare it's pretty worthless anyway. Microsoft have lost the plot imo, they've gotten too eccentric and run away with the faeries.
