The days of the Nintendo DS, 3DS or what ever are limited. I can buy angry bird for 69p for my phone and tablet… Nintendo do not have single game in their range that is 69p or as enjoyable and addictive than angry birds. This fact is a generalisation of how the portable gaming market is.

Nintendo - very expensive compared to Android/ios/Windows…. May have a smaller higher quality selection, but at £20 a pop, I think people are more interested in free to 69p gaming…..

Chances are this is a fact for the whole console market. Unless they wake up and realise that people have less money and can't afford £40 for game anymore, they will loose sales to Android and iOs due to much lower prices.

Knowing Nintendo, the download will be linked to the device you bought it on, rather than linked to an online account, meaning that if your hardware dies, you'll be left out in the cold if you want to redownload it.

I hope I'm wrong on this, but something tells me I won't be.
