Old fashioned but looks well polished…. Looking forward to it. Could do with a modern age of empires game….

Is it just me or does everything about this just sound like this is a rip-off of Civilization V…?

This should be fun, although the idea behind this game is nothing new.

I've been enjoying this for the past few weeks now, it can take days to make any sort of advancement (though thats the point). It's all about space management, resource management and advanced planning. It's got a bit of Tropico 1 & 2 and other games in there. I love the classic graphics, RA2 era, which partly drew me to the game.

You could complete the game quite quickly with real money but I've decided to do it all for free to see how far I get and how long it takes.

It does take a few days to get used to the flow and how you manage your future, there are a lot of players who drop out fairly early on because I dont think they realised that this is a slow paced game and were perhaps expecting Settlers or Tropico. The flow is really up to how good your management and planning skills are.

At the moment, while this may change, it's one of the few ‘Free’ games that you dont need to put any real money in unless you feel you want to complete it in superfast time. Its not like other ‘Free’ games where you get a basic set of tools and if you want to advance you have no choice but to pay.

A great game for office lunch times, over a day you probably only need to spend about 20 mins on it, to collect resources and do the next steps.
