i picked the worst time ever to move house. No proper internet until the middle of novemeber and just a silly dongle with 4gb usage to last til then, The install files will probably be double that so cant even download and play single player either

Beta has, I was referring to the release there, although it is of course available elsewhere.
I'm moving soon too but I will be able to DL before I leave. If not I was going to take my rig around the in-laws house and use their net! ;)

Friday it should be available for preload from Origin (1 week before release). At least that is what I was told on help chat yesterday.

Yup it is, already downloaded it as if FIFA was anything to go by, we will have to wait until release day to download from EA…rather download in advance!

It's quite useful if you have bought a key online and don't want to wait for EA to allow you to download it and then fight for contention with a million other pre-orderers….

Aside form the fact activations methods like that have tried and failed - it's only a matter of time.
Outside of people's short-sightedness in regards to the leak, at least it will offer up how ‘Ultra’ will perform to those who have it and maybe even a good filler campaign until next Friday/Tuesday.

It's the same as FIFA 12…..which I did the same thing with recently.
Download torrent. Wait for release. Install - Enter your key and install using your pre-downloaded CD image from torrent while a million others are downloading at 250k/s from EA all at once…

I give up. Enjoy your release day download contention and/or your over-priced retail box that gets delivered days after the rest of the world are playing :P
Because pre-load on origin only seems to work if you purchased direct from the origin web-store.

Can you see your order histroy in Origin? I cant most of the time but occasionaly it shows some orders but my pre-order isnt there (its on my games list so I know its been bought) just curious to know when I buoght it and whether it was £14 or £17 as I forget!
i believe some got it for £15 with coke codes, mine wouldnt work so i took it at £17 :D. my order history in origin says none found yet battlefield 3 is already listed there just locked and with cdkey XXXXXXXXXXXXXX(it really is just a load of X there is no key yet) so presume all is well lol
