You have to hope that the people arrested aren't hiding behind the defence of- “It wasn't me.”
Then again some of the people taking part were bot net masters.
Its hard to argue that is a just valid form of protest…
If they didn't hijack people computers then i think it would be a valid form of protest.
Protests are getting less and less shocking - but a DDOS attack actually disrupts the people you are trying to get to.
How can you be arrested for visiting a webpage?
My guess is their lawyers will take the route of “disrupted services” and try to account for the customer relations that were stopped from happening - AKA Greed.
I might be completely off though.
