Had a go of the Storm yesterday. Its really neat, the micro switch touch screen is the best. Much better than the iPhone IMO.

As with all cool stuff, battery life is abysmal.

People want a large colour screen, 3.5G, push data, camera, media playback, etc.

They don't want to carry about a brick.

So you either have a short battery life or you get a less feature rich device.

I'm scratching the almost and going all out with admiration ;) That's a ballsy advert. You have to wonder what puny percentage of Microsoft's advertising budget BB paid for this.

Fantatsic ad. and only 18 seconds long.

I died laughing.

Great ad, it's just a shame that the Storm doesn't quite live up to it's promise. Ended up with an Xperia in the end due to the Storm being a bit hit and miss (battery issues, signal problems, buggy software, no WiFi). If they make good on the promise of the Storm next time around (May i believe) then they're gonna have one hell of a device on their hands!

Very clever advert but wonder if Apple will have a reply with a similar advert…

But face on face, the apple i phone and blackberry bold are not good phones. Nokias E71 and Blackberry Bold are better. Touch phones are just no good for serious emailers.

I don't think even apple could get an apple to pass through the middle of a blackberry and have something remaining…

Blackberry ftw :)

no, but they'll get an apple made from RECYCLED AND TOTALLY GREEN (:o) steel and glass, and fire a blackberry at it

But would the blackberry be frozen and what velocity would it be travelling at?

As it may be able break through or ‘topple’ apple

they'd use however much velocity 1/4 of the energy of a lightbulb can produce, and YES of course the blackberry would be frozen. how else is the apple going to win?
