You get a message straightaway when your phone first goes onto a roaming network telling you how much it costs - guess you didnt read it.

Correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't three been the cheapest netwrok to go on whilst roaming abroad for some time?

25p a minute and 35p a text…

Pretty good comparatively to what I used to pay on PAYG. Plus Three offer free use of your minutes/allowance when using their foreign 3 networks (i.e. in Italy, Australia, Austria…)
