Nothing has particularly changed. I'm a serial game-unfinisher.
Last one I finished the main storyline of was GTAV. Prior to that I guess Gears of War and Halo games, where co-op kept the incentive up.
I've definitely never been one for replay and unlocking all “collectables”.
Finished Sudoko a few times… (is that a game or a puzzle?)
Puzzled?
There is stuff all new games worth playing let alone completing!
Kingdom Come Deliverance was the last game I completed, Great game but a lot of back and forth,Gets repetitive but don't they all?
Been getting around to Steam backlog and must have at least 50 out of 200+ unplayed games that are big titles and worth playing,I only just started playing The Witcher 3,GTA V,Fallout 4, Far Cry 5,Mafia 3 just to name a few.
The older I get the faster the time seems to go though, Also the harder it is to find a game to satisfy me.
Far Cry 3
Far Cry 4 and Subnautica are in progress. Most other games I play are open ended.
Only played WoW this year, so not completed anything.

I've been buying them (despite how many games I already owned, my game library continues to grow), I just haven't really been getting around to playing them.
With all the DLC add-ons and achievements. It's difficult to fully complete a game these days. It terms of only main story line, then I would say about 4 or so. It's been slow going. I find that I am not really into games as I use to be when I was younger. Most of the games stories and game play elements copy each other and usually have console level map design.
Borderlands 1 and 2, in preparation for 3. I can't wait!!
Of games that came out this year I've completed A Plague Tale Innocence & Metro Exodus
I've also re completed HL2 & the episodes (will we ever see HL3?) both portals and will have doom finished before Eternal is released
None this year that I can think of, I do like to complete single player campaigns but I take my time with them, I will play a game for a bit and put it down then go back and do more, it can take months for me to finish a game, The Witcher 3 took years, but that was well worth it. Most of the games I play usually are online competitive games like Rocket League or endless games like no mans sky and rimworld.
I finished Rocket League. The end guy is hard.
None. Surely there are more important things to do than wasting your life away playing games.

This was one of my problems, I'd buy them then never play them. I became an addict. Nearly had to go to GA meetings.
I've since then become so disinterested in having a PC any more due to the costs that I've now ditched my gaming machine and gone cold turkey.
Made nearly 1.5k selling a vast majority of my gear which is nice.
A huge shame I can't sell my steam/origin et. al accounts :-( have my 14 year badge as well
A few honourable mentions of my completions:
Deus Ex - but of course!!!
All CODs up to MW2 and BO1 (excluding console exclusives)
Duke Nukem 3D, Hexen & Heritic (never completed Doom/Doom2 as that was all about the multiplayer)
Project I.G.I
Far Cry 1,2,3,4,5 (to this day I dont know why I bothered with 5)
C&C up to Generals
Mafia I & II
Super Mario World
Borderlands 1 & 2 (Pre sequel dragged for me)
Train Valley. Nice little indie game

I wouldn't say I'm an addict, I do still intend to play them at some point (sooner rather than later in some cases, hence buying some sooner rather than waiting to see if they'll be part of bundles) - it just depends upon when I'll be in the mood to play a specific game, just like watching a film or TV show.

I like having a PC too much to give it up, there is just so many different things I can do with it (not just gaming) that I wouldn't want to limit myself by not having one. A tablet for example, would be too limited for me.
Plus, PC versions have more chance of having their longevity extended by people making mods, unlike consoles.

I believe I'm at the 10 year mark myself.
I played the dating game, but finished myself…
A few, all the games I've completed before (Mass Effect, Mass trilogy, and Bulletstorm Full Edition).
As more and more games move to this giant open world MMORPGFPS crap where it's just content upon content I don't finish many. I used to enjoy 100%'ing games. Now I don't even enjoy finishing the main quests.
Completed what there was of the story for Anthem, completed The Division 2, completed the story for NFS Payback, played a bit of BF:V (got bored), Titanfall 2 (got sidetracked), Mass Effect: Andromeda (got bored), Battlefront 2 (got bored), caught up with the story on Destiny 2 and now catching up with the story in SWTOR.
As other have alluded to it's actually quite hard to “complete” a game with the “live service” stuff. I just tend to dip in and out of games over time.
On PC? Hm. Maybe one, others just go on ad infinitum.
PS4 quite a few, caught up on several AC games.
I have been trying to get through stuff I started to completion and been doing quite well with just sticking with one at a time. So far this year I have finished :
GTA V
AC Syndicate
AC3
Spider-Man
Rise of the Tomb Raider
CoD Advanced Warfare (second play through)
Anthem
Bloodstained : Ritual of the Night
Devil May Cry 5
Until Dawn
about 40% through shadow of the tombraider, and I am bored to tears.
not finished any at all, nothing, not a sausage.
in my Currently Playing category in steam there is:
Borderlands GOTY, 2, Pre sequel
deus ex mankind divided
grim dawn
half life (up to prepping for xen)
lords of the fallen
nioh - up to water blobby blob, keep getting splatted by tentacles
quake
shadow warrior - theres 2 of those big things you can only shoot in the back,
starpoint gemini 2 - up to getting a titan
subnautica below zero - does this count as ‘not finished playing yet?’ because the game hasn't been finished making yet and the storyline is only just started.
the surgfe - last boss, got distracted by tropic 4
tropico 4
vampire masquerade redemption.
other platforms:
steamworld dig - last boss
outcast
LOTRO
think that's it.
reasons for being so many. I particularly hate the bosses where you need twitchy reactions and have to dodge, slice jump or backward spin while stabbing, all within the 3rd phase and if you don't immediately do the correct 20 button press then you get one shotted and start again.
I either get to a boss I get frustrated at or cant kill after the 20th attempt, then I load up a different game, preferably different genre, to relax and unwind and de-stress. rinse repeat.
trouble with doing this though, I rotate around too wide, so when I come back to an old game, I have now forgotten where I was up to. so then wander around a bit wondering what I was supposed to be doing, then find the boss again and quit after dying one or twice.
Mirror Edge Catalyst
The Sinking City
The Division (main story)
Operencia: The Stolen Sun
Warhammer Chaosbane (finishing slowly)
Walcen (finished Beta/Alpha now Playing New beta Act 1)
Rage2 (Last mission Gen.Hunt, but i want to play some more Side Missions)
Wolf 2 (finishing slowly)
Doom (finishing slowly on Hard)
Finishing slowly means:
I just want to Play games and have fun, so not finishing right away…
In terms of “finished” - completing the story then this year I can only think of two:
Shadow of the tombraider
Metro Exodus (on steam..;))
I am mid way through many others, but only those two held my attention until the end. SOTR would have been finished in 2018 but I decided to wait for RTX before doing the last few hours. Most of my gaming has been on PUBG agian this year, and I have recently re-completed Doom but that doesn't really count.
I am very close to finishing RDR2 though, which is my current “project” so to speak.
I've also found myself playing more roguelikes this year..a silly amount of time in FTL and now Slay the Spire….you could say I have finished those in that i've reached the end of FTL for example, but still many more things to unlock so I don't count it as “done” yet :)
wolfenstein the old blood, the new order, the new colossus- now playing youngblood.
far cry5, finished and now replaying in game+ mode.
need for speed most wanted, for the umpteenth time.
Witcher 3, great game, took me a while though. Almost finished FarCry 5, but abandoned it, became too repetitive.
Just finished Plague Tale Innocence; Horizon Zero Dawn: Frozen wilds are in the finishing phaze;
God Of War; Yakuza Kiwami; AC Odyssey +DLCs are somewhere at 75% progress;
I have actually finished several games this year, albeit comparatively short ones.
Previously I'd been struggling somewhat, but much of that is down to changes in routine.

Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike what, exactly……?
i have completed 3 games detroit become human, call of duty wwII and doom.
i get bored very easily with games. last game i finished was a super mario got the charm or whatever rescued in 1990 or 89. all the rest , and i have a bunch are unfinished. some barely started. i can not focus the interest for any length of time.when i was younger i could play hours on end and dedicate 100% focus on the game; bark at people to stay away etc. now, i lost interest. me and the quality of games dwindling interest? the graphics are certainly so much better and the flow of games, audio so far superior too. maybe too close to real that i prefer the real reality. i do not do VR. i built a computer specially to be able to try it. tried it, dont like it. not for games. work? not my work however.
I'm on fire this year having completed TWO! Far Cry 5 I completed earlier this year and only just this week after a long 3 years I finished Rise of the Tomb Raider.
I have also been playing WoW but given up with that a couple of months ago.
I'm currently playing GTAV…early days yet.
Shenmue I & II, Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered, Darksiders Warmastered Edition, Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition, Yakuza Kiwami, OKAMI HD / 大神 絶景版, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Ultimate Edition, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Layers of Fear, Vanquish, Bayonetta, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, and Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition. Games take me some time to finish since I go after achievements as well (whether I liked the game or not), and I'm currently working on Resident Evil VII's DLCs.
I have completed quite a few Far Cry 3,4,5, New Dawn, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Kingdom Come: Deliverance and a few others. I prefer to finish a game all the way before moving on to another game. Sometimes I do multiple times through before moving on.
No-one from the Star Citizen dev team going to answer this? ;)
Prey (finished once on Steam, nearly finished on GPU), Doom (XB), Shadow OTTR (XB - worst game in the series imo), Alien Isolation (XB), Portal - Still Alive (XB), SuperHOT (PC - GPU), Edith Finch (XB)
I'm surprised how many I've finished. Mostly Game Pass and Games with Gold stuff on XB and a couple of replays of games that are on Game Pass Ultimate for PC. More often than not thesedays I find myself replaying stuff I enjoyed rather than playing new stuff even though my backlog is huge (isn't everyone's?). I'm also sifting out short games in my Steam list to try and get through more but don't have the time.
So much free stuff thesedays too adding to the pile. Still not got round to trying any of the 20 or so titles on Epic yet (Subnautica has been sitting on my HD since day one!) and next month it's a trial of Ubisoft's game pass so I'll be trying to rattle through a couple of things on there, probably FC5 and one other. And every weekend there are free trials on Steam and XB, beta tests etc (Breakpoint soon, hope it's better than the first test was!).
Not many really, I used to finished 10-15 games a year, in 2019 I only finished Assassins Creed Odyssey (+DLC) and Shadow of the Tomb Raider….to be fair they are pretty much the only games I properly played this year.
Only one. I did Sword Coast Legends. I'm bummed it got shut down though.
I decided at the end of last year to actually finish some of the games I've been playing. So since then I've actually finished some games. The problem with most of the games I play is they're really long games or they don't have an actual end. I usually start playing and after several hours, give up on the game before the end, even on long story games.
Currently have 95 hours in Monster Hunter: World and is my current slow burn game (bought last month). I do plan to get on completing the story at least. But it's taking ages, and failing a hunt after 40 mins because your faint limit is reached is frustrating to say the least!
Completed:
Ace Combat Assault Horizon (PC) - First game I completed this year, got stuck on the last mission for days
Glass Masquerade 1 & 2 - Was relaxing, so completed it.
PAC-MAN™ Championship Edition DX+ - Never really played Pac Man before, but really enjoyed this.
Railway Empire - Campaign completed, plus a few scenarios.
Total War: WARHAMMER II - abandoned after completing the Elves campaign and 109 hours
Surviving Mars - Got to the end of the tech tree. Did not have fun when trying to start again… as it all felt the same.
Technically completed:
Space Engineers - bought this year, got bored after 62 hours
Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 - bored after 38 hours
Euro Truck Simulator - log in once in a while, do some jobs to relax. Plus events when they pop up. But maxed out my character/garages.
Hall of Shame this year (started and abandoned this year):
Ni no Kuni™ II: Revenant Kingdom - after 45 hours
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition - Got pretty far, but lost interest
Kingdom Come Deliverance
Yakuza 0
I really need to get some more games finished.
None, unless you count being a champ at losing ladder points on Starcraft 2, then I've ‘completed’ that a LOT lately :)
No games completed. I rarely play games with a short term completion of any these days.
500 hours completed since the autumn on MMRPG Black Desert Online and maybe another 500 to complete the main quest line!
(Finally something that I feel compares with Skyrim. Though with the usual quirks and weaknesses of such major games)
Beats watching TV of an evening.:D
Celeste on Switch! I tend to only really get through shorter indie games these days. Gotten past the half way point in several bigger games and it just fizzles out for me.
I lose patience far too quickly and always resort back to multiplayer games
2: Resident Evil 2 Remake & Resident Evil 5.
I rarely finish games, shame on me but steam rolled these.
