There's fuel lines that run from the back of the car - while H&S would have forced TG to drain the fuel first, I'm fairly sure he will have derived more humour from keeping the fuel line in place, with fuel… probably added fuel to make it more fun. Let's face it, he's not your run of the mill sort of bloke. :D
