GTX 1060 6gb, brought Jan17 think around £250. Still does the job, will skip the current rtx crap..
RX 570 XFX RS 4gb stock bought for £65. Bargain buy from a miner, happy until £200 Navi with 2x the performance of this guy comes around.
Vega64.
In winter I don't need to turn on the heating.
Now it's summer I need a spill resistant keyboard to keep the dripping sweat out.
2nd hand 980ti, got it for £250 nov ‘17. Replaced the thermal paste recently, and it handles 1440p as well as I need. the EVGA utility has an option to limit fps (and this limits power used accordingly), so it’s nice and quiet in normal use - with the fan control as good as it is the only reason to upgrade is the power cost, and for my use that doesn't work out until 1070s come down to £40 or so
GTX 770. Adequate for general use & my limited gaming :)
GTX 970. It was a nice step up from my 5770 and the cost seemed pretty decent. I would be tempted to upgrade again if costs were more compelling so I'm probably going to upgrade the rest of my system and wait a bit until upgrading the GPU. I might have been less satisfied if my 1440p screen didn't break where I replaced it with a 1080p screen since the monitor offerings didn't particularly appeal to me at the time. Only problem is that one of the fans is now making a grinding noise after I somehow stupidly got a cable stuck in it so may end up replacing the fan. I'm not quite sure how I managed to let the happen. The 3.5GB is a little annoying, but otherwise it's served me well.
1080Ti, I play at 1440p with no issues, so no not upgrading anytime soon.
RTX 2080 Founders Edition. Nice and quiet 1440p gaming with good frame rates, while also not using much power compared to my old R9 290.
I use 2 Maxwell GTX Titan X's in SLI (fully watercooled) in my rig, still quite happy with the performance, but when I do eventually upgrade I think I will just get 1 card.
My wife uses a Pascal GTX Titan X (fully watercooled), she is still happy with the performance and no plans to upgrade.
MSI 1080Ti (bought last year), I play at 1440p with no issues (G-sync screen), so not upgrading anytime soon.
gtx 1050 i dont play games on pc
Watercooled GTX 1070ti, overkill for my needs only ever play Project Cars & CoD WoW but like to stay relatively current.
Sapphire R9 Fury Nitro, bought Aug 16 for a jot less than £300. Best value for money at the time considering I'm not interested in 4k resolution. Expected DX12 or Vulkan adoption to be much better though, so that aspect of the card's performance hasn't shone like I hoped.
Would still buy Radeon again seeing as I don't like NVidia's push for monopoly, nor their driver support and Experience software. But AMD need to make something worth buying first.
Currently play an assortment of different games less than I'd like, and ironically mostly choose GTA V which performs worst of any on Fury. Still good enough for medium-high at 1440p though.
Went from a 970 to a 2080ti. Big leap in performance for sure. Shame the screen I use is only 1080p,but I figured better to do a big upgrade once
1080 Ti FE
QHD perfection.
Gave my GTX 970 to my daughter (it plays games good at 1080p) as I got an RTX 2060 for myself :-)
EVGA GTX1060 6GB SC. Skipping this generation, no reason for me to upgrade.
Here are all my past GPUs, most recent to oldest
ASUS ROG STRIX 570 4G - Great for its price, not worthy of the ROG Strix name IMO, as it uses a 1050 Ti cooler, which is designed for 75W TDP, and no backplate, unlike the 580 Strix, and the 1050 ti Strix. (Late 2018-now)
EVGA 1070 SC(2) - Excellent card, good fac OC. first had some issues, got a SC2 back from a RMA as a free upgrade. Sold as I didn't game as much (~Late 2016- Late 2018)
ASUS 670 DCUII - Worked, I guess. 670 was essentially a faster, cooler 580. Great buy. Had all the VRAM, unlike the 660 ti BS, 2012.
ASUS 275 (forgot which model, its a blower) - see above. Essentially 1/2 of a 295, or a cheaper 280. Got it when I got into gaming, 2009ish?
and my oldest card, Radeon R9600 Pro 256MB. First GPU, don't remember much about it. Still have is somewhere. apparently AMD is going back to XT and Pro, Can't wait for the ATI RADEON NAVI RX 3080 XT PRO ULTRA GAMING EDITION
EVGA GTX 1070 FTW Gaming ACX 3.0
It was the only thing I didn't replace in a recent overhaul.
I gave consideration to jumping on the RTX bus as would like to make more of gaming on my 4K G-Sync monitor, but couldn't justify the ridiculous costs.
Will be sticking a decent wtaercooling loop in next, and then I'll save up for whatever is Billy Big Bollox by then, and some blocks to fit it.
EVGA 2080ti, the cheap one.
What graphics card? Dunno. It had ‘Radeon’ on the box and I think it's a Sapphire, but it was about 15 years ago that I bought it and I don't really remember what it is.
Does it still have ‘game’?
For everything but games, yes, and for games, it depends which games. I'm nowhere near the gamer I was, mainly due to Steam (which I won't use), and no doubt for modern heavyily graphics oriented games, no it wouldn't.
Upgrade it? Probably not. Or maybe.
Put it this way, if I'm going to upgrade that, I need to upgrade so many other bits it boils down to buying a whole new machine, or sufficient bits to build a whole new machine. And I don't see me doing that for gaming.
If I ever decide to buy a new main machine anyway, which will probably only happen if a machine I currently rely on and still need fails catastrophically, then I'd probably aim at a couple of grades short of state of the art and then yes, I'd upgrade the graphics card to whatever, at that moment, reoresents maximum bang/buck …. and there are a few members here that would get a shoulder-tap for advice at that point.
I'm still running an aged NVIDIA GeForce GT 740 2047 MB. I'm ready for an upgrade but haven't decided which way to jump yet as I run a Hackintosh & the latest OS doesn't support NVIDIA as yet.
Water cooled HD7770!
I had to get rid of my GTX 980 two years ago due to money issues.
To keep the rig going; I picked up a £15 HD7770 with a faulty fan, and as the plumbing was still there to cool the CPU I also picked up a new old-stock Asetek chipset water block for £5.
Boom…
… 2004 wants their plastic barbed acrylic VGA blocks back!

Won't last much longer though, just bought an RTX 2060 for £260 with the Ebay 15% off code :D
R9 295X2 - was hoping DX12 would mean multi gpu support would get better but instead it got worse so am looking to replace it. It's had a good run.
Vega 64 XTX (original by AMD with LC), UV/OC & HBM2 Timing Tweak
Next Upgrade when Arcturus HBM3 Arrives :)
PS.
Gaming at 1440p Ultra/High TAA in Rage2 in ~150-175tW
two pro duo 8gb which are very speedy but the 4gb frame buffer is getting very restrictive.
await navi`s er, nativity with great anticipation..
750ti which was free.
no idea if it plays current AA games, because the CPU doesn't support the code instruction set (?) used in the game. e.g. assassin creed origins, which was also free from Samsung offer at scan a year or so ago. so haven't bought anything newer because theres no point, because I cant play it. somethingto look forward to for ryzen3 upgrade probably.
plays Elex and Nioh that were also free from similar offer at scan.
play everything at 1680x1050 on my nearly 10 year old computer.
currenty working through DeusX:MankindDivided but the fans are getting noisey, I think they need a thorough clean.
everything except mouse and mousemat, keboard, case is going to be upgraded once I sort ‘stuff’ out. bits from this one wil end up in drawer with other bits from other computers.
Sadly still rocking a passive GT 730
AMD Fury X purchased in 2016, still doing the job, and no noise from the water cooler either.
Asus ROG Strix Gaming 2080 Ti
Always been a fan of the MSI Gaming series and currently upgraded to the RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio…4K 60Hz Project Cars, F1 2018…perfect.
1080 ti overcloked to 2100 (on water)
RTX 2080, an Aorus Xtreme to be exact! I chose it as it has a great overclock out of the box, a custom PCB and was much better priced than the ASUS Strix (at least at the time), which I think is a comparable card. I won't be changing it for a while I hope!
GTX 1080, i just play Civ games now. Wont upgrade anytime soon.
GTX 970 (Had to lower settings in GTA V when it came out so doesn't have much life left in it).
8800 GTX (Can only handle live YouTube videos at 480p - any higher resolution on a live video and the video will freeze while the audio keeps going or the pc will crash).
Zotac 1070 Amp Edition.
I have in the past week went back to an old Asus 770 2GB to test LOD/texture loading issues. The old card won. The newish 1070 has LOD issues in games. I uninstalled the old drivers for the 1070 and installed the new card and installed 770 2GB with the new current drivers. I tested this setup in Just Cause 4 and Serious Sam 3. I still had some issues in Just Cause 4 and most of the texture loading issues disappeared when playing Serious Sam 3. Pretty weird. Once I re-installed the new card with current drivers for my OS. The issues were back to what they were. I will likely see if older version drivers have the issue. Maybe the new card doesn't like the security updates.
Asus Strix 1080 Ti No need to upgrade this computer any more…Its fully stocked…Because im going full AMD on my newe rig…This summer.
RTX 2070, figured it was the best value few months back.
1080Ti upgraded late last year so not looking to upgrade.
RX580 8GB Nitro+, does everything I need as I can't afford nvidia premium tax. Navi might tempt me.
I'm running a 2080 ti, I upgraded from SLI 1080 ti's (still have them in a mining rig) and with SLI hardly being supported anymore the game 2080 ti was a nice upgrade. The 2080 ti seem to be a very nice fit with a 3440x1440@100hz monitor if you play the latest AAA titles.
I wish AMD would step up to the plate so I could switch back. I had crossfire 290x's but since Hawaii AMD has been trailing nvidia at the top end, that is how I ended up with SLI 1080 ti's. It looks like Navi will bring nothing more to the table then Vega did, sadly.
1080ti in the 1440p rig, vega 56 in the 4k one - I know it's the wrong way around, but the 1440p rig crashes with the vega and the main rig doesn't.
Radeon R9 280X - fast enough for me ;)
GTX 1080ti, though i struggle to get into any games. I feel like I should like games much more than I do. To have the excitement of a new game coming has never really come to me. Maybe one day.
Still rocking a GTX 970, it's holding up OK, but only because I'm not really pushing it all that much these days. But it's codec support is getting a bit outdated, so I'm eyeing up a replacement. I'll wait to see what Navi delivers. If it doesn't, I'll probably just pick up a GTX 1660 Ti.
MSI 1060 3GB - not completely satisfied with FPS drops, can't wait for next-gen AMD cards to at least get nVidia's offerings to come down in price.
Asus STRIX GTX970 4GB, had it for nearly 4 years added to a system built 6 years ago. Sadly no games out now or in the near future that I'm interested in that would warrant me upgrading. I should be thankful I'm “saving” money!?
GTX 1060 6GB back when it released in August 2016. That was an upgrade from a GTX760. I'm going to replace it when there is something decent that will run a 45-60hz Freesync monitor - so probably next year depending on Navi/Acturus or what Intel might suprise us with.
Sapphire R9 380.
Happy with it, as it runs dark souls remastered as 3840x2160…
Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080 Ti, bought it the day it hit the market and it's simply amazing, still. I bought a Viewsonic GX2703-GS 1440p@165hz Gsync monitor to go with it, a perfect match up I'd say. It's now been 2 years since this build and no game in existence can slow it down at the targeted resolution/refresh rate. I expect it to hold up just as well for another 2 years before even considering a replacement. RTX 2080 Ti is nice, but not enough to tempt me away from my beloved 1080 Ti on it's own. I expect to probably hold out till the theoretical launch of the RTX 4080 Ti.
Intel HD 630.
Great for WOT.
Main PC - GTX980Ti
HTPC - GTX1060 6GB (it doubles as a 2nd gaming PC)

Legacy gaming PC 1 - Voodoo3 3000 (backed by a K6/3-450MHz)
Legacy gaming PC 2 - Matrox Milleniem and both the original PowerVR Apocalypse 3dx and Orchid Righteous 3DFX
Spare PCs - GTX560Ti, Radeon HD6870, Intel HD4600
Radeon 6950 until recently when it started to give me problems with blank screens. Then rolled back to a 2950 lol. Don't game much so I'm waiting for something from AMD/ATI which will be low power and in the £150 to £175 bracket. Nothing appeals atm as they are all too power hungry. Wouldn't touch Nvidia with a 10ft barge pole :).
Vega56 with EK Fluid Gaming A240R water cooling kit
XFX R9 Fury with Morpheus II cooler. It's technically holding its own, just about, at 1080P and high details, but I can't stretch it beyond this without the FPS dipping too low (sub 60).
I'm waiting on any AMD Navi announcement now, be it at Computex or E3, to work out whether I will be spending money on a Navi card or an older Vega card.
I'm hoping that the recent Navi price leaks from Sapphire (suggesting $399 and $499 prices) are either incorrect or for premium, custom models, as otherwise Navi will pretty much be DOA at those prices. AMD needs to undercut Nvidia on pricing, otherwise gamers will just continue to go for Nvidia, especially if it's true that Navi met its clock targets but not its power/thermal targets.
Here's to hoping we finally get some concrete Navi information at Computex and not just a preview or, even worse, an announcement that says when they'll be officially giving more information.
Asus Rog Vega 64. Bought in on offer from OCUK to replace a water cooled 290X which was starting to struggle at 1440p. I have a nice EK full block to fit to the Vega for the summer months.
Euphonium
Legacy gaming PC 1 - Voodoo3 3000 (backed by a K6/3-450MHz)
Legacy gaming PC 2 - Matrox Milleniem and both the original PowerVR Apocalypse 3dx and Orchid Righteous 3DFX
Wow that's a blast from the past that puts a pleasent smile on my face
Gigabyte RX Vega 56 Gaming OC. It would have been the Sapphire Pulse version if I'd been more decisive at the time it was on offer, so when this came up on offer a short while later, I thought it was my best 2nd chance at buying a Vega 56 so made sure to get it.
It was bought mostly in preparation for when I make the eventual jump to a new system, so I haven't really given it a real work out as I'm waiting to make the jump to Ryzen 2 - as I stated in last week's CPU question - before attempting it as I'd most likely be bottlenecked by the CPU anyway.
Main Rig - GTX 980 4gb
HTPC Rig - GTX 1050ti Low Profile in Super SFF PC

Retro Rig 1 - Nvidia ti 4600 and Pentium 3 1ghz
Retro Rig 2 - Voodoo 2 12mb and AMD k62
Retro Rig 3 - Nvidia FX 5950 Ultra and Pentium 4 3.4ghz
an ancient 4770 ati card in backup machine.
a R360 i picked up other year in the plex machine.
And a aging but still more than powerful 270x AMD i picked up for 120quid off ebay that needed new fan set (15quid).

ASUS STRIX OC GTX 1080ti
Fellow 1080 Ti owner, I take it that you too were unimpressed by the RTX options available and have no intention of letting go of your 1080 Ti for a long time to come :P
I am using AMD RADEON R7 250E
Sapphire Pulse Vega56. Undervolted and +50% power limit.
No complaints with it at all - handles 1440p well.
“Forced” to move from my GTX 780, since gen7 NVidia has issues with Ryzen.
Used a 1050TI for 2 months untill I got a sweet deal of a 1070 for +/- 200€
I'm still rocking my GTX 770 - since the last Battlefield V update, I have managed to stabilise the framerate and am still happy. Although I have been lurking on the ebuyer and scan websites of late :-)

Not who you were replying to but I also have a 1080 Ti, got it in November last year. The effect that RTX has on framerate and the premium you have to pay for one of those cards just wasn't worth it. I'm more than happy with my choice, 60fps Ultra settings in everything I've thrown at it, sometimes dropping from 4K to 1440p.
It has the possibility to last me longer than my 780Ti did, was having to go as low as 900p in some games.
RX480, waiting to see amd 5k price/performance before I decide about upgrading
I have 2 EVGA GTX 970 in SLI.
Got a 2070 for BFV but tbh it was too expensive and still is. Got my son an RX580 which is way better value for 1440. Maybe I'm getting old but “mid range” Nvidia cards are bloody expensive.
Can I contact admin??
It is about advertisement on your website.
Regards.
palit 1080 ti gamerock premium edition. Not the best but far from the worse. Competitive price as well!
Currently using my GTX 1080 Ti in my main rig. But building a Matx PC for lan with Vega 56. Until the prices of higher tier GPU's come down or intel/AMD can price match the 20 series I won't be buying another higher GPU until I can get another GPU with similar GPU grunt for 25% increase in performance at £700. I'll be staying put
Upgraded from a GTX 770 4GB, Bought a Gigabyte RTX 2070 £470 plus a free copy of BF V. More than happy with my purchase. :)
