Mainly books (and not e-books, I tried reading “Castles of Steel” on a tablet once, never again) and the go-ahead to order parts for another 3D printer.

New CD player that is also a DAB with internet stations, my mum found 16 of my missing Megadrive games and also wrapped those up top go with the CD player. I also got a Monsters Inc clock (has LED light behind it and is kind of like an old vinyl record that has been etched and cut to shape- Its really cool), ALso got a Monsters Inc rug for my game room. On top of that I got a Commodore 64 T Shirt and mug.

So pretty cool I must admit

I did also win a boxed ZX Spectrum +2 in a raffle over Christmas so will be getting that in the New Year, believe it is the earlier grey +2 machine and is a Dixons pack, REALLY looking forward to getting the machine and bundle of games.

Still waiting for my ZX Omni, I believe that mine will be getting dispatched late January

Laser Squad, that's pretty much all we played on ours. We took turns to leave the room so we couldn't cheat! How I miss those days of listening to the tape sound when it was loading on even older Spectrums…

As for what I got for Christmas? Stuff. :vacant:

Materrial things? Exactly what I wanted, and asked for. Nothing.

Non-material? Some quality family time, including with some elderly and not well members, for who we may or may not get another chance. Priceless.

I'm always boring when it comes to Christmas and Birthdays, if theres stuff i want, I generally buy it myself as and when..
Socks, boxers, jeans, jumpers, traininers, smellies..
The only thing I said i wanted was a new iPad as my mini2 is about dead, but don want to buy one myself as the mini4 is long in the tooth now so waiting until the new revision before I buy one myself….

Too many expenses this year so I get nothing but that's ok, it's more important to me to spend Christmas with my family.

A nice warm cap & a bottle of Scotch.

A new reclining armchair, a bottle of Champagne from Sally's work raffle, she doesnt drink fizz, two bottles of red wine which is frustrating in the least, as I had to stop drinking red a year ago.

A box of Turkish delight from the grandkids - they know me so well, and a bottle of Spicy Pumpkin Baileys - TRULY revolting !

A jacket off my brother and his wife, I think they worry about me keeping warm, I'm getting on in year and live on my own. I on the other hand bought myself a Samsung MZ-V7E1T0BW 970 EVO 1TB M.2 . Next Christmas I might just treat myself to one last PC build.

Tangible presents were modest this year by request, but we got some good times with friends and family that were worth far more.

A Fitbit Charge 3. I already had a MiiFit 3, but this is much better at telling me I'm not moving enough.

Pants, Socks. Books. Also a lie-in. Well, kind of. 7am instead of the usual 5am…

Too many sweets! Still working my way through them now…

That's not strictly true, you can never have too many sweets.
