When is WPA3 going to come on the market?

I can't buy it, they didn't put the word ‘Gaming’ into the product title

Not sure, but good manufacturers should be pushing out updates to implement it in existing supported routers. There's no new encryption algorithms that would require dedicated hardware to implement it.

£279.99 for a single unit meaning to get Mesh networking is going to cost upwards of £560 depending on how many units you need. I paid less than the cost of one for my system, admittedly it doesn't have a dedicated gaming channel but its fast as and does everything I need it to.

'Gaming Grade“? Is that just marketing speak for ”more expensive"?

Pretty much. Although the extra 5GHz channels be can practically useful if you have a lot of devices on your network slamming your access point. But for the money they're looking you could get 3 or 4 good quality access points and so even more dedicated 5GHz channels. :/

I would rather get a Ubiquiti Pro for a lot less (or even two for less!)

HA!

Razer have in my experience always come up with awesome hardware but very sketchy software / firmware. I certainly wouldn't splash my cash on something like this, I'd much rather buy something from a dedicated comms company. If they can't get a keyboard to reliably identify itself as a HID on boot and require access to the internet to load your macros and layout then there's something seriously wrong. Occasionally the keybaoard will act as if a key is stuck down or just plain not work at all. This was a £120 keyboard which was top of their range at the time.

Worst part is they never really fixed the issues, despite firmware updates. I now have had to buy a USB hub with switches on it so when it screws up I can just turn it off and back on again. Every manufacturer can come a cropped with an untested hardware configuration but these bugs affected loads of people and they never fixed them which for a flagship product is absolutely unacceptable.

You know, I'm quite happy having paid an electrician to come in and put in a dedicated wired connection for my PC which is in a different part of the house to my router and modem. Much better than Homeplugs, much better than Wi-Fi, also much cheaper.

Pretty sensible. Just the cost of a USB wifi adaptor which you can optimally position and then a directional high gain antenna on that is probably less than the cable and the cost of having it run properly. And way better.
