Hello,

The winner of this prize was a french woman who didn't need a GPU. So she sold it to me because I'm building a new computer.

When I tried to plug the GPU into the motherboard, the GPU is not detected. I've tried a lot of option but I just get a black screen when I plug a HDMI on it. Nothing in the BIOS neither. However, fans and light are working.
I'm gonna try the GPU in the next few days in a friend's computer to see if it's my motherboard or the GPU istelf which is not working.

How could I use the 3 years warranty from Gigabyte ? They say on their website to contact the seller. Do you have an invoice I could use to contact them directly ? Or do i ship to you the GPU and you send it to Gigabyte ?

Hi there

We rarely get failed products for a Prize. It's v unusual, and when/if we did we'd only be dealing with the winner.

I think the first thing realistically is to know that it's actually failed. We don't see many failures tbh.

We don't buy the cards - they're prizes provided by the Manufacturers, so invoices don't exist in our sphere as you will understand.

Ok thank you for you answer. So I'll try the GPU in another computer. If it's not working again, I'll contact Gigabyte to see if they can take care of it.

If not, I'll contact the winner to find a solution with you ?
I've got the serial number to ensure you I've got the GPU from the giveaway.

If I ever won the lottery I would do a few of those for long-term regular users only, just to stop people signing up, making BS posts about “I'm in <insert random country> and deserve this more” for 2 days then disappearing off into the sunset.
