Nice! This is what I come to tech sites for. Nice article.
Agreed good article however don't you think it's time to update your test platform?
I was thinking why you didn't compare GTX1060 SLI too until I realised the GTX1060 does not support it.
AMD and their high power consumption!!

Hexus aren't responsible for the shortage, and it is something that applies way beyond just that one model.
The conclusions are more important I think than the choice of GPU.
That multiple GPU usage is not dead, but it is very hit or miss.
As it has always been.
I'd like to see a 1070 SLI article. to see if it's a more viable upgrade for 1070 owners or to just sell their 1070 and upgrade too a 1080 ti
It's obviously only a matter of time before it stops being worth it, which could then mean a flood of attractively-priced second-hand units.
The question I would have however, is whether it is likely that the mining would have put too much strain on the GPU for it to be worth the risk of buying said second-hand units.

Yet the Scan link at the end of the test has them in stock.
At £6-700 for 2 of these you would be better off with a 1080 singe card solution.
this is a sign of the gamers still in parents basement getting argued at about the electric bill.
