PRESS RELEASE

Anniversary of the Cooling Specialist

Digifanless: Noiseless Power. Digital Control.

"Digifanless" is the name of the most current flagship project from Enermax: One year ago, the manufacturer presented the first prototype of a new power supply platform. The performance-capable passive cooling system has a tremendous advantage over active cooled solutions as the power supply works completely noiseless. Enermax has further extended the concept with a digital interface for the control of key values such as voltage, temperature or efficiency. After comprehensive series of tests, the manufacturer will show the first Digifanless 550W in action at CeBIT. It will power a high-end gaming PC with two ASUS Geforce GTX 770 Direct-CU II OC graphics cards and a strong AMD FX-8350 CPU.

Thanks to the new "Zero Delay Power Monitoring (ZDPM)" system, the visitors can study the performance of the forthcoming flagship PSU from Enermax. Apart from the monitoring function, the software allows for an individual adjustment of the most essential 12V output. Users can switch from a single 12V rail to a multiple 12V output (multi-rail), optimize the voltage (V) and current (A) according to the particular system configuration. The smart ZDPM system will automatically give out alerts if the power supply exceeds certain limits, so that it is effectively protected against overheating, overvoltage and overcurrent. Enermax plans to release the Digifanless 550W in the third quarter 2014.

Speedy Fan and Small Cooler

With Twister Pressure, the manufacturer has just introduced a new masterpiece to the market: The high-performance fan is based on an optimized Twister bearing: With the second generation of the patented technology, Enermax extends the lifetime of the new fans to 160,000 hours (MTBF) - even at extreme temperatures of max. 85°C and a peak speed of up to 3,500 RPM. At CeBIT, the cooling specialist will present the second high-performance model, the high-speed fan Twister Storm. For completely different areas of application, Enermax has designed the slim ETS-N30 CPU cooler. Due to the strong 9cm fan and the optimized heat sink construction, the compact cooler is able to keep up with much bulkier models. ETS-N30 will be available on sale from the end of March.
