The 24GB HyperX memory kit being shown off by Kingston at last month's CES has made its way to retail, priced at around £1,110.
Kingston's mammoth kit - designed for use on Intel's X58 platform - comprises of six 4GB DDR3 modules, clocked at 1,600MHz apiece with latencies of 9-9-9-27 at 1.65v.
We doubt whether or not 24GB of RAM is benefifical to most users, but Kingston does have itself a niche product that it reckons is likely to appeal to the "super enthusiast who wants everything". Even the super enthusiast might scoff at the £1,100 price tag, but if you've always wanted to run multiple virtualised operating systems at once, this here kit could be just what you need.
All six modules sport Kingston's familiar-looking HyperX heatsink, and the kit comes backed by a lifetime warranty.
