A couple of days ago we reported on Toshiba's intention to launch the DynaBook UX - a new, svelte netbook with a hefty estimated price-tag of around $600.

Now, it seems as if the DynaBook is coming to UK shores under the NB200 name.

Ostensibly the same netbook, the NB200, to be made available on April 28th, will share the same Atom N270/N280 chip, 945GSE motherboard, 10.1in (1,024x600) LED-backlit screen, and 160GB hard drive equipped with a free-fall sensor and Microsoft Windows XP

Purporting to have a nine-hour battery life with the larger six-cell battery or three hours thirty minutes with the standard three-cell, the 1.1kg NB200 will cost from £320 - a darn sight better than the DynaBook. All we need now is an NVIDIA ION version.
