We might have had a quite chuckle when Microsoft teamed up with Zazzle.com to sell all sorts of "I'm a PC" merchandise, but it seems sales may be better than we'd anticipated.

Following on from that initial taster, Microsoft has now official launched its own clothing line, dubbed Softwear by Microsoft.

It's a pretty catchy name, we feel, and though the range currently consists of just a few t-shirts, the 80's styling provides a geeky sense of chic.

In an effort to describe its foray into clothing, Microsoft states:

A Billion People Can't Be Wrong
This is Softwear by Microsoft. A clothing line that taps the nostalgia of when PCs were just starting to change our lives. With retro logos, classic photos and geek-chic iconography, these pieces showcase the DOS days of the software company that now connects over a billions people.

The words cool and Microsoft are rarely used in the same sentence, but we reckon this is a pretty cool move from Microsoft. Sadly, the clothing line appears to be available in only a handful of U.S. cities.

What do you think of the Softwear by Microsoft clothing line? Are you liking the idea of having MS DOS splashed across your chest, or would you not be caught dead with any form of Microsoft attire? Share your thoughts in the HEXUS.community forums.

Pmsl, nobody will buy this.
A good way for Microsoft to make more money, this is probably aimed at the fan boys who'd like to walk around advertising for microsoft.
Just how geeky would you have to be to buy and wear one of those?
Should be called “Togs for Tards”
Tidus
