Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that it is working on the videogame based on the fourth installment of the Terminator movies, which is due to hit cinemas in 2009. Terminator Salvation will offer players the chance to assume the role of John Connor, a soldier in the resistance, battling for survival against the far superior forces of Skynet. It will be a third-person action game with concentrated armed combat against all of the Skynet enemies from the film while encountering new enemies specifically designed for the game. The game was developed by GRIN Studios, whose previous work includes the Bionic Commando series and the PC version of the Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter series.

“Terminator Salvation – The Videogame allows players to battle for survival against Skynet enemies utilizing an incredibly fluid and realistic control set,” said Cos Lazouras, President of Halcyon Games. “The player will be led through a visceral story with extremely polished production values to create a fully interactive Terminator experience.”

“Building on the incredibly strong franchise, Terminator Salvation – The Videogame will be a cinematic gaming experience that complements the upcoming film,” said John Quinn, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Operations, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

I can't wait for the movie to come out. But I might also try the video game. But I really want to see the movie!
I think four films is pushing it a bit now…. even though I think this one will be the best as it's the war between machines and humans :D

it will never beat T2:mrgreen:
There is possibly going to be up to 6 films in total.

Personally I preffer the SM Stirling books to T3 upwards :)
Don't worry, Christian Bale can save any franchise - who would of thought we'd be enjoying batman again?
