Memory specialist, Corsair, has today announced the launch of its new Mac Memory kit for Apple's newest Mac Pro desktop systems.

The DIMM kit, available immediately, offers a 4GiB fully-buffered 800MHz solution in the form of 2 x 2GiB modules and uses Mac Pro-specific heat sinks and performance ICs.

Richard Hashim, Director of Product Marketing at Corsair, said:

"The new Apple Mac Pro desktops are high-performance dynamos that require large amounts of memory. Upgrading the Mac systems with 4GB of Corsair’s new 800MHz Mac Memory FB-DIMMs offer end-users the ability to unleash even more performance from their Mac Pro desktop platform."

If you're contemplating beefing up your Mac Pro, Corsair's new 4GiB DIMM kit is available now, priced at $250. As always, Corsair's Mac Memory is qualified by Apple Test Labs and comes with a lifetime warranty.
