Nottingham named as riskiest place for theft

Insurance provider, Endsleigh, has analysed household theft claims from thousands of its policy holders over the past four years to showcase the top ten safest and riskiest towns and cities for burglaries in the UK.

Though Home Office statistics show that burglary rates across the UK have fallen over the past decade, the Endsleigh report clearly highlights that certain areas are at far greater risk than others.

The report lists Nottingham as the riskiest town or city for theft, with burglary rates 63.3% above the national average. London and Bristol followed as second and third riskiest areas with burglary levels of 50.8% and 50.7% respectively.

The safest area by quite a distance, Guildford, has a burglary percentage of 82% below the national average. The complete results, including listings for riskiest and safest towns and cities for household accidents, are as follows:

Not surprised to see Stockport listed in number 3. Used to live there right ****hole tbh. Not far from Chester now, which is apparently much safer :rockon2:
