Florida lawyer goes after Halo 3

Florida lawyer and notorious party pooper, Jack Thompson, has thrown himself headfirst into the spotlight once again and is now turning his attention to Microsoft and Halo 3, claiming he will sue the company unless they ensure that the videogame is only sold to gamers over the age of 17.

Thompson sent the following mail to Mr.Gates himself:

Here's the deal, Mr. Gates: Either Microsoft undertakes dramatic, real steps, through its marketing, wholesale, and retail operations to assure that Halo 3 is not sold, via the Internet and in stores, directly to anyone under 17, or I shall proceed to make sure that Microsoft is held to that standard by appropriate legal means. I have done that before successfully as to Best Buy, and I shall do so again as to Microsoft and all retailers of Halo 3.

Thompson has surely bitten off more than he can chew taking on the cash spinning Halo 3, not to mention its legion of passionate fans. Any attempt to sue Microsoft will surely be greeted with a well deserved two finger salute, in fact Mr. Gates himself is probably roaring with laughter at the sheer nerve of this bizarre character.

Halo 3 will be one of the biggest game of all-time, so surely he's never going to get achieve more notoriety than he is at the moment. I'm afraid it's all down-hill from here on in, Jack. It's time you retired.

It's traditional to cheer on the little guy, in this case, I hope MS rolls right on over him, leaving a sticky, unpleasent stain on the road. If anyone deserves to be roadkill, it's JT.

The Florida lawyer just can't help himself. This time he's taking on Microsoft and Halo 3 in a bid to ensure that the game isn't sold to anyone over the age of 17.

You mean Under age of 17…
lul wut?

This guy really is a retard, shops will sell it to people under the age of 17 no matter what MS says. Although it could be a good thing, no more whining kids online screaming noob.
I don't get it, either it's subject to a rating or not, I'm sure the Microsoft lawyers will crush him in any case.
Theres no law to back him with this, he's just being a retard so he can get press.
