VGA card and motherboard manufacturer EVGA has announced a new watercooled GeForce 7950GX2.
The cards, which feature an Innovatek waterblock designed to fit the double-PCB of the 7950GX2 cards, operate at a 600MHz core and 1.4GHz memory clock, giving them a performance advantage over most stock cooled 7950GX2s.
According to the managing directory of EVGA, Hans-Wolfram Tismer, "The BlackPearlTM water cooling reduces the core temperature of each GPU by over 20˚ C also significantly improving the system’s stability."
Two of these cards can be run in quad-SLI if you've got the money and inclination to do so... oh, and the space for all that piping! The watercooled BlackPearl version of the e-GeForce 7950GX2 will weigh in at €899 when it arrives mid-august.
