Introduction

SCAN 3XS FX-62 System - Redux

AMD launched its new processor form factor a couple of weeks ago. Known to the world as AM2 and sporting DDR2 compatibility, it was the green team's excuse to launch the fastest-ever Athlon 64 CPU to date. Running dual cores at 2.8GHz and packing in massive gaming performance, it is, we reckon, the fastest consumer CPU you can buy today. SCAN jumped on the AM2 bandwagon and sent us its excellent system that redefined our notion of high-end SLI machines. However, we noted, it wasn't perfect.

SCAN took our suggestions onboard and revised the specification to make it even better. What's more, the new version is outfitted with a new graphics card that you'll learn more about today. Take a comfortable seat while we pass our critical eye over SCAN's revised offering.
