This week we've been busy getting to the bottom of what may well be the world's fastest single-GPU card. Sapphire unleashed the beast that is the TOXIC 6GB and we gave it a good working over. But our review wasn't enough for some readers, so we fired up the test system and went in-depth and tested it on three screens.

PSUs are great business; they barely depreciate, there's little real innovation year-on-year and profit margins are considered healthy. This is why a huge number of companies all produce a long list of power supplies. In Win looks to go for the eco angle with its GreenMe 750W while Corsair woos the gamer with the Gamer Series GS800.

Sapphire gets a third bite at the review cherry with the Radeon HD 7870 Flex card and, if all this kit is making a huge hole in your Barclaycard, we continue to offer industry-leading competitions; this week you could be in with a chance of winning a Philips LightFrame 2 monitor.

In other news, rumours suggest NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 660 Ti is coming within a month; Apple gets slapped by a UK judge;  Microsoft confirms that Windows 8 is to land on October 26; EA also confirms that Battlefield 4 beta is out next year; and the ISP block against Pirate Bay is largely ineffective, it is claimed.
