There's more eye-candy today as ASUS' TUF SABERTOOTH 990FX mainboard - divulged earlier this month - has been caught in several compromising poses.

Powered by AMD's upcoming 990FX and SB950 chipsets, ASUS' high-end offering brings support for the AM3+ platform and features the manufacturer's TUF CeraM!X cooling solution.

We already garnered that power delivery comes courtesy of an 8+2 phase Digi+ VRM system, and that the mainboard will come packed with many of ASUS' premium features - such as military-standard components and MemOK! functionality.

If you're eager for Zambezi, expect this and other ASUS AM3+ flavours, to debut next month.

It's Like they chose the most boring hideous old colours ever. My nan would love it.

It's Fugly Prefer the look of the crosshairs

And why do they not use copper on heatsinks anymore much better cooling than a painted piece of anodized aluminium

Cooling isn't rate limited by transfer within the material (which copper is better at), but the metal-air interface, which anodized aluminium is better at. It's also probably cheaper and looks better (according to them).

It's cheaper yes but its not better surely.
