Acer triumphs with six Computex Taipei design & innovation awards – organized by iF design

TAIPEI, TAIWAN (May 31, 2011) - Acer has a total of six winning entries at this year's Computex Taipei design and innovation awards, organized by iF design. The winners are the ICONIA TAB A501 tablet, ICONIA SMART smartphone, ICONIA dual-screen touch notebook, Aspire Ethos 8951G notebook, Revo 100 desktop, and Aspire Z5801 all-in-one desktop.

Computex Taipei design & innovation awards, organized in cooperation with world-leading industrial design institution iF Design, honor products that stand out through excellent design. Their evaluation criteria include degree of innovation, design quality, choice of materials, environmental friendliness, functionality and brand value, among others.

ICONIA TAB A501 tablet

ICONIA TAB A501 10.1-inch tablet was designed to maximize content enjoyment, providing rich multimedia, gaming and web experience with the multi-touch technology. Its high performance specification encased in an elegant aluminum casing entertains with style. This tablet comes with a 1280 x 800 high resolution display with wide viewing angle providing higher color accuracy for better visuals.
